Stat distribution
Note: i dont take responsibility on this one since this how im distribuiting my stats, so if you like to follow on this one its up to you.
UPDATE: NOVEMBER 13th 2016
Many dragoons are discussing about what stat distribution we should follow due the new gems and headgear improvements, many have voted to go something similar to this:
FULL DEX
60 STR
0-50 CON
this however its up to you if you have read the disclaimer, if you want to go with this distribution (High evasion, High crit rate) its highly suggested to have yellow gems (5 -10 stars) in your main weapons and red gems (5-10 stars) in your offhand (shield and dagger) on your armor and leggings yellow gems and up to you whatever you want in shoes.
(to keep a good track of how you distribuite points i highly suggest DONT USE POINTS as soon you get it, use it every 3 levels, that way you can invest them without worrying about "did i place 1 in dex or 2 in str?")
if you like to start with high survivality then you should go 2 STR and 1 CON until con hit 70-80, once CON 70 or 80 you can start raising DEX. (i recommend this if this your first character)
if you know about the game and already know that you wouldnt die easily, then you can start with 2 STR and 1 DEX until DEX hits 100, then you can start raising CON
once your DEX its 100 and CON 80 (or 100) you can put the rest of point in STR (until rank 8 come out this could change)
In the end should be like this:
Note: bonus points may be different i mean the ones you get from revelation quests, potion points (from some boss quests), from collections that provides extra points and from Goddess statues that give points. i just counted around 35 points from Revelations and goddess statues if im wrong with the count dont worry as you only required 100 CON (optional) 100 Dex and the rest into STR
AGAIN as DISCLAIMER, this how i distribuite my points and works for me, if you want to follow this its under your responsability as may suits for your needs or not.
List of attribute to enchance
Note: this list i will keep updating it due the original list was provide with Rawporing, however i would provide with a small info about why i upgrade it. if you dont see a description on the enchance of why its because im still upgrading it but pretty much its the order i would upgrade it. take any freedom to upgrade it like you want (or not upgrade it at all its up to you) there's its not need to upgrade attributes as you can do pretty well without them even on lvl 200+ maps however they would be always helpful.
1)Concentrate enchance lvl 50
its fairly cheap to upgrade concetrante enchance to lvl 50 if you are a new player you can go with lvl 10 until you get enough funds for lvl 50.
2)Gung Ho enchance lvl 5
Gung ho its ok to leave on enchance lvl5, upgrading it more than lvl 5 its up to you, because gung ho make you have less defense since this skill lower defense in favor to raise your damage. so upgrading it to lvl 50 its under responsibility of the user.
3)Shield Guard
Once we reach Rank2 for petalsta this its the first attribute we going to buy because this will let you use the shield to defend ourselves. Press C to guard with your shield.
4)Guard Defense lvl5
after we got Shield Guard, we going to upgrade Guard Defense as this attribute provides us with 10% of physical defense when guard its used, so max it as soon you can.
5) Swash Buckling: Maximum HP lvl 5
a must to have, since this would increase our HP once we use swashbuckling and will last enough to cast again swash buckling.
6) Guardian Enchance
even if this skill dont works when gung ho is active (and viceversa) we would like to upgrade it too when we require to tank some damage, more likely when we are in party where we can let our allies to kill enemies while we keep them busy with us.
7) Guardian Evasion lvl 3
Self explanatory, when guardian its active we going to get 6% of evasion per attribute lvl (max lvl its 3)
8) Shield mastery lvl 5
more block we have, more we can resist. must to have.
9) Umbo Blow: Add Knockdown lvl 1
here is the thing, this attribute its really good, umbo blow have a low CD of 12 segs, and with this attribute you would knockdown enemies this its really helpful when you want some space or when you want to take advantage of a enemy down in floor (example: Umbo blow then stab the enemy in the floor you will land nice blow to the enemy before they can stand and hurt you)
leaving the attribute on lvl 1 its enough, and works great if you want to use punish (since lvl 1 dont send them fly pretty away) if you dont plan to use punish then max: umbo blow add knockdown to lvl 3, on lvl 3 the knockdown its like morchdlag knock down so you will send them pretty away with less cooldown.
9) Finestra Splash lvl 1
Once we get hoplite we going to upgrade finestra splash to have a bit of more aoe ratio when using spear attacks. its a must to have.
10) Stabbing enchance lvl 25
its not require to upgrade it to lvl 25 as soon you have hoplite (because if my memory dont fail you would require around 200k silver to upgrade it to lvl 25) you can leave it lvl 10 and live with it until you get funds to upgrade it to lvl 25 or lvl 100 (max)
11) Stabbing: Evasion lvl 5
Easy to max since its just lvl 5 the max level, would be a nice idea to upgrade it since at lvl 5 would provide you 25% of magic defense and evasion when you use stabbing, i know its like a "big thing" but anything that help you to resist magic its welcome.
12) Cyclone Enchance lvl 25
13) Dragontooth Enchance lvl 25
14) Sepertine Enchance lvl 25
15) Sepertine blooding lvl 5
16) Syncho Thrusting lvl 35
17) Spear throw Enchance lvl 25
18) Spear throw : bind lvl 5
19) Double Pay Earn reduce dmg
A must to have if you plan to use a lot Double Pay Earn, if you upgrade it (MAX lvl 1) instead taking x3 damage when DPE its active you only will receive x2. its really helpful to upgrade this attribute because DPE its a great tool for you, either for dropping items as well getting more XP when killing monsters (worth to use in mercenary mission)
20) Plate armor mastery
you can upgrade it even when you start however wouldnt be so required a lot because from lvl 1 to lvl 160+ enemies arent that dangerous. you can even upgrade it to lvl 10 and leave with it for a while until you want to upgrade it to max lvl, however when you reach lvl 230+ maps you probably would want it at max already since that level enemies start to hit like a truck.
21) Dragon soar Enchance lvl 10
Equipment
Lvl 1-39
Cheap armor: Get any plate recipe from questing.
Expensive Armor: Get cafrisun set will last until you reach 40.
Cheap Weapon: Get any sword recipe you can from questing, you cant use spear yet anyway.
Standard Weapon: Get Spatha, its a good option if you have some silver to spare.
Expensive Weapon: Get Dio Sword, hard to drop due the low chance from Vubbe Miner, but its the best thing you can get at lvl 15.
Cheap Accesory: Any Necklace and bracelets you get by questing
Standar Accesory: Chupacabra necklace, drops by Chupacabra monster and it somewhat ok by its bonus.
Expensive Accesory: Shine Bracelet, its good to have due HP / SP bonus for earlier stages of the game and you can equip 2 of them.
Cheap Shield: any shield you can get buying from blacksmith in towns
Standar Shield: Meteor shield, you get it by killing big red kepas, also you can buy it from market. shouldnt be expensive.
Lvl 40-74
Cheap armor: Any plate set recipe you get by questing
Standard armor: Insect set its a good set to start sadly nobody know where insect mail drops, so you can replace insect mail with rokas plate armor.
Expensive armor: Earth plate set. you get them by defeating field bosses in royal mausuleum WORKERS LODGE, but the only fastest way to get its trought market.
Cheap weapon: Any spear you can get from quest (if by that time you are hoplite, if not again any sword)
Standard Weapon: Dory Spear, sadly you wouldnt get this weapon until you get the Kvalias Chain quest, after all the weapon recipe and mats drop from monsters of those chainquest area.
Expensive Weapon: Thresh spear, expensive in market and hard to drop, have low chance to drop from catacomb maggots (Guards Graveyard place) and being a collection item with low chance to drop (also the map its for lvl 60+) make it kinda valuable to sell in market.
Cheap Shield: Keep Meteor and upgrade it to +5 or get another shield recipe from black smith. also you can craft any shield you get their recipe drop from monsters
Standard Shield: Zalia Kite shield, a good shield due the Magic Defense, you can get the recipe again from monsters of the Kvalias Chainquest, so will take a longer until you get it. you can also get it from market but could be a bit expensive.
Cheap Acc: if you have shine bracelet keep it no need to change it until you get bearkaras bracelet and zachariel bangle. if you dont have those stick with the bracelet+necklace sets with magic defense you get by doing repeteable quests.
Expensive Acc: Battle bracelet. if you somehow managed to get one. its good to keep it.
Lvl 75-89
Cheap armor: Any armor you get by questing at this point you dont have too much options in armor so pretty much you will stick to Insect / Earth plate sets you got previously, if so just upgrade them to +5. Armor and pats firsts as those give defenses.
Cheap Weapon: Any spear you can get by questings. you can upgrade your dory to +6
Expensive Weapon: Grand Spoonton, its expensive by 2 reasons: recipe can only get in Crystal mines lot (100+ lvl map) requires a drop from a high level mob (stoulet) to craft it. at this point in market the recipe and mats price should drop a little, but then again the price depends on server population.
Cheap Shield: upgrade zalia kite shield to +6 magic defense always come handy and its welcome. if not get ludas shield recipe from black smith and craft it.
Standard Shield: Beetleback: if you want more HP it require a bit of time to craft it as it require varv skins, just go to farm Ashaq Underground prison F3 to get the varv skins in a few hours you should get the skins needed for it.
Expensive Shield: Sage Wall, upgraded version of your Zalia Kite shield, and probably will last you until you can get Aias or Didel Tower Shield. drops from Venucelos, and requires some expensives material. probably best shield you can get at low level but harddamn to get. but in the end the hardwork worth it.
Cheap ACC: Any ACC you get by questing but at this point you should get the bearkaras bracelet and zachariel bangle thanks to kings gateway chainquest, and you will keep those for a while.
if you havent reach that point of the quest just stick with anything you get by repeteable quests.
Standard ACC: Strenght Pendant, upgraded version of chupacabra necklace, you get the recipe by killing orange popolion (you can find those earlier in Baron Allerno)
Expensive ACC: Gladiator Bands, oh boy if you get them you are in good road.
Lvl 90-119
At this point you dont have many options of equipment its like the "Big Void" of equipment, just keep upgrading whatever you have but dont overupgraded it. as +6 should be enough for this big void. and because you will need that money later. but then again remember enemies arent that dangerous yet.
Lvl 120-174
Cheap Armor: quest lines plate recipes.
Expensive Armor: Legwyn Plate set, good set and upgrade armors and pants to +3, this one will last you for a while. expensive to get though.
Cheap weapon: Any spear you get by questing
Standard weapon: seimos spear, not so hard to get, and recipe should be somewhat cheap to buy from market.
Expensive Weapon: Zega spear, the best spear you can get at this level, provides you with +2 in all your hoplite skills. recipe isnt that expensive to get, but the "thick Chain" being a rare drops to stoulet and also being an untradeable item make it hard to get. but in the end this spear worth it.
Cheap Shield: anything you drop from mobs
standard Shield: upgraded either Beetleback or Sage Wall to +6 and thats the last time you upgraded it because that will last you enough to 220+
Cheap ACC: stick to the bracelets and necklaces you got by questing.
Standard ACC: Health Stone, cheap recipe to get from market, bloodstone from lizardman sadly the only expensive mat its the glizardon heart.
Expensive ACC: Pentamion. if somehow you get it.
Lvl 175-224
Cheap Armor: Tyla Plate set its a good and cheap alternative to Roxona plate set, you get it by questing.
Expensive Armor: Roxona plate set.
Cheap Weapon: Anything you can get from quest
Standard Weapon: you have 2 options here: Geras Spear, if you plan to spam spear throw, good spear to kite enemies to finish them off and Khasti Spear this a GOOD alternative to brandish (not because its bad, more because its easy to get) so you are good with any of them.
Expensive Weapon: Here we come with the 2 big bad boys and the little kid we should have.
Brandish: For bossing works good with aias if you want to deal damage but have defense while doing it. drops from shyatim at royal mausuleum F4, better start farming after maintenance.
Maga Spear: For mobbing in general and probably you will stick with it until you can get something better. awesome Spear honestly due the medium damage bonus a must to have.
Karacha Dagger: to use along with Maga Spear due the bonus, i know we arent corsairs to get the bonus from daggers, but we want this dagger because the medium damage bonus and fire damage bonus. with Maga Spear will make your life easier in late maps.
Catacomb Spear: sadly at this point we dont have many good 2 hand spear but stick with this babe, because its crit rate its damngood.
Cheap Shield: anything you got by killing monsters.
Standard Shield: Didel Tower Shield, i dont put this on standard because its bad, in fact i would consider this best shield due its stats (Specially magic defense) we want magic defense overall becuase its what hits harder late at this level of the game. there is no way (unless Rank 8 come with the tradeable items update) to get it in market so you have to run dungeon 190 with hope to get it from firelord cube. if you get this one you wouldnt need the next option.
Expensive Shield: Aias. its a good shield have a nice rate of block and a chance to cut down the damage you get by half, expensive to get in market and low chance to drop in dungeon 175. materials also are somewhat expensive. good shield and will last you enough until new shields come.
Cheap ACC: Anything you got so far.
Standard ACC: Warrior Pendant for necklace, be careful although as provides weakness to ice and fire, but its somewhat a upgraded version of Strenght pendant. for bracelets keep with glass bracelets as those provides you with a good magic defense.
Expensive ACC: Max pentamion for necklace, Sissel bracelet for arms.
Lvl 240-280
Cheap Armor: Grynas Set
Grynas: just come every hour to Grynas Hills (in front of the goddess statue) to defend the torch, the event start every hour (server time) sometimes the torch dont spawn, but when it spawn defend it for 10 mins, if you are lucky enough you will get a recipe from grynas set.
Standard Armor:Virtov Set
just do runs to dungeon 240 to get virtov plate set. good luck though.
Hard as Hell armor: Lolopanther plate set. if you somehow go and make your way trough earth tower with a good team. go for it.
there isnt nothing much to post about shields, and weapons because pretty much you will stick with the same things unless you go to earth tower and get the lolopanther version of shields and spear.
Bonus ACC: salus convent, try to get phada recipe and terrallion recipe. those are good options.
Leveling:
I dont like to say "level this way" because not many of us would like to do it in such way. this its a leveling guide many players follow:
https://forum.treeofsavior.com/t/xans-leveling-guide/312775
i did it in two ways to level up my chars:
"Fast as Flash": just do quest and map exploring 100% use cards only if you are 10 lvls below the recommended map level. do your daily dungeons and mercenary dailies. the problem would be maps like cranto coast because probably you would be around lvl 224 without grinding.
"slow but rewarding" pretty slow, the point its not use any card because you will level by doing monster killing count, and mercenaries daily, you will only use cards at lvl 160 to past the wall xp to reach rank 6, and most likely with all the cards you saved you will hit lvl 186 its matter of preference as you can keep leveling in dungeon and use your cards to lvl 190. by doing monster killing you have a small chance to get those rare drops you can sell for some profit. this how i do it but i have the patience enough for it. so i dont recommend this.
You are petalsta so you dont going to have troubles finding party to grind.
Any suggestiongs, feedback and things to changes are welcome as long its in respectful manner.

Any suggestiongs, feedback and things to changes are welcome as long its in respectful manner.

yeah stat distribution changed, right now im running it with: 70 con rest into STR. you can go full str if you like i just added little con due enemies not hittint anymore 1 with higher defense.
dex dont give anymore crit rate so no point to use elleganos unless you want some "speed attack" in your autoattack. (remember its ping dependant your speed attack) in my case i would go for mole glass cards.
Is it still a Problem to get into high level Partys without Swashbuckling?
If i like Dragoon and settle for a build i don't want to miss out in the end :D This build looks just right and still has the taunt...
the problem right now its like most of the swordy builds are not meta, only doppel.
so far i havent seen groups shouting "looking for taunter" because im in Orsha. at start not gonna lie i made this build with this class build because "meta" people wouldnt like you if you dont have petalsta, but now i used it due petalsta utilities (umbo blow knockback its quite nice tbh) and im doing quite often block with this update.
swash buckling on high content used to be dangerous (since you can attract mobs that can hit you 2k or 5k) but now that damage have been revised its still dangerous but not like before. so pretty much you probably would like to use guardian for the physical and missiles ones. but right now how the game its probably would work better on party where you can lure them to your friends skills set up and dispatch lot of enemies.
i still think im going to stick this build without modify stuff. there also quests where you get automatically the aggro of the mobs. so pretty much you dont need swash buckling to lure them to you. but never deliver the quest so you can keep the aggro forever
that was my first though, but then i decided to stick to this distribution since i dont like how short its the Gae Bulg Debuff, consindering too things like push back or any status ailment, thats why i decided to leave it to 1. the only thing that would make me consider to change the distribuition with Gae Bulg its if IMC decide to let player aim where you want to target it (like spear throw) in that way i would feel more confindet to use it.
i feel a build like SW 3 > Hop 3 > Dragoon 2, can get more benefit from Gae Bulg since they have 100% uptime pain barrier thanks to the attribute this literally nullify the problem of getting knockback after using it (which btw im kinda interested to try that build) so probably on that one i would add Gae Bulg due pain barrier lvl 15 with attribute.
On Soar, Tooth and Serpentine, i have played with them on rank 8 maps when i was rushing my old dragoon to class 15 for the rank reset, and worked for me mostly because i trust a lot in Soar as my slash damage, i can use serpentine then use my piercing attacks on cloth but sometimes enemies around 300-400k damage tend to survive like with 100k around so most likely soar worked like a filler and cyclone well the CD. but of course that what work for me.
what probably im going to do it just to level up 10 lvls my dragoon to get the rewards from chest, with the class lvls i get going to add it to gae bulg buy the attribute, then use the skill potion to set again my points as before, i know that its a bug and probably its not intended how IMC wanted but they literally take Ages to fix something.
oh BTW i see you added the list of some of the dragoons from each server, mi team name is NightWlnd (its an lower case L) and im from Orsha Server, currently lvl 286
do u recommend Full Dex/60 STR/50 Con or Full Str/80 Con/100 DEx?
I would like to try full dex..but if u said otherwise i listen :v
how the survivebility of this build on ET..or u have somethin else for Goon ET build..
Love to hear it from u..
Thx man
im currently lvl 261 with this build, mostly because im spending my time to rush my another goon (the one i did following with Rugal help) to reach class 15 in rank 8 so i can reset it for murmillo since people have told me they "work good" in ET so pretty much going to use that for ET.
if you want to go: FULL DEX / 60 STR / 50 CON (or nothing invested in CON at all) prepare yourself to spend a bit chunk of money getting:
-Phisical attack and critical attack headgear (accesory 1 2 and 3)
-Yellow gems: at least lvl 5 but its high recommended getting lvl 6 or higher yellow gems in main weapon, and red gems in sub weapon (shield and dagger) same level as yellow. also red gems in gloves for more critical attack.
-Elleganos Cards lvl 10, if you somehow get around 5 or 6 elleganos card lvl 10 this allow you to invest points in CON or STR since each lvl 10 elleganos its 10 dex (or unless you want to full dex for even more crit rate)
-Yellow gems again at least lvl 5 or higher in your plate armors, preferably grynas since its the most easy and accesible plate armor with nice defense, with even yellow lvl 5 gems works wonder i used it on the new maps with my first dragoon (not this build) and honestly the phisical damage lowered a lot.
that build its pretty, but pretty expensive, but the damage done its really rewarding allowing yourself to do alone 290 runs by just spamming spear throw and dethrone.
you can see that build here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz10WNhV42Q
(DISCLAIMER: not like that dude use specifically this build, because this build its the one that its pretty common among dragoons, but he recommended me those stats when the gems update come around that time you can follow the discussion here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/treeofsavior/comments/5cc2vz/need_some_help_about_stats/ )
by just spamming dethrone and spear throw he clears pretty much a lot of the rooms there.
About ET i cant tell you in my honest opinion, first because my main no pelt dragoon (lvl 302) dont have petalsta so pretty much its a "NO PELT NO PARTY" so thats why i made this build and its currently lvl 261 so i still have 19 lvls to reach 280 (recommended lvl) to try ET and if im lucky probably would find one in ORSHA server but so far what i have experienced with this build thigs were really easy compared with my main dragoon when i used to do those quests (but most likely because now i have knowledge of the game)
now if you wonder, how are my stats? im not full dex, im currently have:
282 STR (now 302 STR due the rank 7 Boost)
CON 32
DEX 171 ( i can get 182 if i use karacha dagger, but im using 3 elleganos card at lvl 5 that mean 15 more dex)
im leveling right now 2 DEX : 1 CON and would level CON until it hit 100. after that im just going 2 DEX : 1 STR, im not meta with the stats (since the meta its FULL DEX) but i feel i deal a fair crit rate thanks to finestra and damage its good for me.
thats the reason why i added the disclaimer in the stat distribution section, because if you can afford to swicht yourself to FULL DEX and its not because the reset potion, more because if you can afford that equipment because thanks to the update buff to gems and headgear can be pretty expensive. so it up to your possibilities
