This build was made to do everything. Solo grinding, kill field bosses and literally STOMP in Solo PvP or Pre-Made PvP (Team Battle League).

Pros:
High Mobility (Trot);
Easy Leveling and Bossing in earlier ranks (Pierce Attack from Hoplite);
Increase the Physical damage output of your party with gaebolg;
Sustain from Restrain and Finestra (Stun/Crit).

Cons:
Low in party utility.

In ToS you can learn all attributes but this consume so much time (and money). So, I'll just show what level up in the early game.

Swordsman - Plate Mastery: Defense; Provoke; Weapon Swap; Restrain: Slow; Thrust: Bleeding; Thrust: Continuous Attack.
Hoplite - Use One-handed Spears; Finestra: Physical Damage; Finestra: Splash; Pierce: Bleeding; Stabbing: Evasion (PvP).
Cata - Companion Riding (Best Attribute); Use Two-handed Spears; Two-handed Spear Mastery: Penetration; Earth Wave: Earth Property.

What is the good thing about Arde Dagger and Spear?

There are two different types of damage, being "Property Damage" and "Additional Damage". When Enchant Fire by one Pyromancer is active on you at level 5, it gives +15 Fire Property Damage and +15 Additional Fire Damage.

So let's say your basic attack hits 100. Cast Enchant Fire and you will see you'll hit: 115 + 30
100 is the Basic Damage, 15 the Additional, and then 15 is the Property Damage added.

Now you equip an Arde Dagger for example (153 Fire Property bonus), cast Enchant Fire and your attack will be: 268 + 183

Going even further, Having a Priest C3 cast a 15/15 Blessing with 50/50 attribute (+170) on you: 430 + 353

Now you can see that with nothing but 100 Basic Damage, 1 Wizard buff, 1 Priest buff and using Arde Dagger you deal almost 800 damage per BASIC attack.

Obviously you'll have discrepancy between monsters elements because that calculation is thought if we're hitting something or someone with Neutral attribute. (Thanks Whitecross)

When I have free stats, how should I manage stats? I'm going to 5/1/4 str/con/dex. Or just stats up like 5/1/4 str/con/dex everytime. Because I'm afraid to both of str and dex balanced them. Thanks for your answer.

Trap build. If u want to be a pve guy, choose mage or archer, so pvp cata is sw3cata3d2, its for thoose who are new and want to full pvp/gvg

Hello Stormknight. Could you tell me what I should be prioritizing for my pet training (HP, PhysicalDef, MagicDef or Evasion)? I thought about going for HP, but I'm not sure if that's the most efficient way for the class. Also, thank you for the awesome guide ^_^

the way i would do it: priorize HP in your companion as soon you get Cata, the reason is: the game is still fresh around that lvl you get Rank 4 for Cata (70+) at that level literally there is low risk in the game you wouldnt be on serious danger until 219+ maps, and being an STR+Dex build you already have a nice evasion , so building earlier your pet HP for some HP bonus for yourself its a good idea, since 200+ maps you already going to face enemies that hit like a truck.

if you take lets say for example the 5:1:4 Distribution or the 5:2:3 you still have a good amount of Dex, and assuming you got leather armors and raised the evasion attribute on leather armors, physical enemies wouldnt be a trouble, of course you will one 1 or 2 land hits on you and specially those with multihit ( brow brambears for example) but yet there isnt reason yet to raise P.Defense.

its in that moment where Magic start to be a serious danger in game (200+ map) so by that point you should prioritize Magic Defense in your pet. after that its up to you which thing you want to rise. but take that in mind: lvl 200 its where the "real danger" of the game start

usually for catas with Dex its recommended leather armors, you probably would like to upgrade the leather armor attribute passive so you can get more evasion.

hi, i ve been following this guide so far on 100+, planning for pvp/gvg/mvp build.

regarding stat allocation, should we put some points into spr, like 20-40 just to raise block penetration?

for skills, maxing out pain barrier and sacrifice some points from gungho/concentrate, wouldn it be better?

@kunci.kunci in my opinion, u should leave spr, if u wanna hv additional spr, just using item which having spr bonus, but dont forget to having gears with physical damage/str bonus and maybe some magic defense too ;D

Can someone explain to me why is thrust even upgraded to 1? ... i mean it doesnt really matter.
it charges and then hit which consumes atleast 2 auto-attacks. Now, if you're saying (bleed) is the point here. You have 2 other skill you can actually use that also afflict bleeding... just correct me if i'm lost with the concept.

not sure if this is the reason as I donĀ“t have a a dragoon yet, but DRAGON SOAR is a SLASH type attack (weak against plate armor, strong against cloth) and DRAGONTOOTH is a PIECER type attack (weak againt cloth, strong against leather).
Maybe plate is the most popular armor or the hardest enemies use plate which would make SOAR do only half the damage

Im scared, how did you handled getting party for 220-280? nobody wants a sowrdie with no peltasta, i am already 197 and I dont know what to do... really feel like re-rolling another but with pelt instead of sword 2.. anyways everything can remove restraint debuff in pvp.. feels like wasted time

a lot of people have take peltasta for taunt. i know that right now swordie is less damage than arc or mage. but there is always party that can take you.
find also some friends to play with you, or even guild.

I think its more usefull to take damage skills first instead of Trot/ So you can max your damage skills at 1 job on cata3 and then go for Trot 14. Coz i feel good with basic speed (mount+3 from Token). What do you think about it? (sorry 4 my eng =) )
