When this skill is used on monsters, it can be stopped manually by the last skill button. But when it is used on players in pvp, there is no button to stop the channeling, leaving you too vulnerabrable every time you want to stop the channeling to run. You just stand there and wait till the skill is ended up to 20s or more.
It is much better if there is a way to stop the channeling at will in any situation.
