For anyone looking for the Collection as of March 2017, Start at the Arrow of the Gytis Settlement entrance and walk directly straight East (to the right) across the small strip of ground until you hit a large tree. There may be a Tree Root behind it to help you find where the chest is, but the chest is hidden behind the dense leaves of that large tree as many hidden chests are in Tree of Savior.
I hope you find what you're looking for. If this was confusing, I am referencing the small strip of land directly south of the Goddess Statue that you can warp in with.
