Introduction
Hi! I'm DarkNova, a fledgling fletcher (lv.204 227 241 as of this moment), with experience on how to build this class without being purely theorycrafting. As such, please make note that you are free to deviate from this build. I am solely distributing my build as I strongly believe it's one of the best ways to maximize being a fletcher.
a. Here is an alternate build (Archer 2-Ranger 2-Fletcher 3) should you be inclined to min-max more:
You are free to pick and choose from either build.
Play Style
This class may or may not be for you. Once you get Magic Arrow you're a formidable opponent against bosses, but on that same note, your DPS will heavily revolve around dumping a Magic Arrow and firing debuffs to boost that sustained DPS. If you don't like being what is essentially a turret in most cases, you may want to look into a more active class. Fletchers are really good at one thing, though: killing stationary targets. Moving ones are slightly harder to deal with but can be dealt accordingly if you predict and know how far they travel on a given attack. This game has fairly easy, recognizable tells for bosses and you can use them to your advantage. If you are good with all of these characteristics in consideration, all the better! Good luck!
Skill choices
You may wonder why some skills are without much or any investment. Well, after having tested the rather limited number of skills within the three classes, I made the decision not to get them. My reasons:
1. Oblique Shot (1/5)
Decent skill, but grows very poorly, while SP cost grows much quicker. Furthermore, even though I do use this skill now still, I don't use it for the damage. Rather, Oblique Shot gets a rather nice attribute (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/301017/) that slows down enemies for you to get some distance easier.
Meanwhile, Full Draw gets one more second per level on Skew, which also triggers the attribute debuff (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/301019/). Do note, this probably does not trigger on bosses. For early leveling through, this will be a nice, reliable boost on some harder enemies.
2. Critical Shot (0)
This skill is single target but not special at all. If you are filling in for auto attacks, please use Oblique instead. Critical Shot provides no apparent improvement in exchange for its SP cost, and I leveled mine a bit before I used a skill reset. It's pointless and should be ignored.
3. Time Bomb Arrow (0)
Time Bomb Arrow is great, for a couple things. It deals decent damage especially since you can get this as early as lv.15 (especially if you're following this build). Know what else is great? Barrage is great. Time Bomb is also great...for knocking enemies away. That's usually not good, and it has caused mobs to fly away from taunters in dungeons. It's not a party friendly skill and its damage is overshadowed by Barrage. Plus, it gets no beneficial attribute besides the damage boosting one, the one attribute that every offensive skill gets.
4. Barbed Arrow (0)
This skill is the biggest waste of skill points for a number of reasons. You're going to be lv.130 or so when you advance to fletcher, and you've got very few precious skill points to distribute. You have three useful arrow skills and you have...this. It deals anywhere between 0 to 3 hits depending on enemy type, and guess what! You'll be fighting lots of ghost type enemies on the way to rank 6! Fun times! You're no ghost buster so this skill wastes points that could have been saved for the much superior Magic Arrow. Seriously, save your SP and get Magic Arrow as soon as you advance.
Skill choice addendum
Re: High Anchoring and Full Draw
You should never level Oblique past 1, and if you're going Ranger 3, you should invest all those remaining points into Full Draw. Also, as I did not explain, you do in fact get more charge gauges given more skill levels. For example, I can almost instantly fire off Full Draw or High Anchoring for a quick debuff, because I have enough skill points invested for multiple level charges. This is particularly handy if you want to re-position or get some distance from your target (which the High Anchoring attribute does quite nicely). As mentioned, they provide decent debuffs and are worth the skill point investment. High Anchoring is also pretty nice for solo play especially with more levels - less time to charge, and more AoE Attack Ratio. Win-win!
Re: Broadhead
I have Broadhead listed at 10 here for a couple reasons. When you're bossing, you won't necessarily care about hitting more than one target. Even still, Crossfire is important for leveling. But at level 10, the sweet spot, Broadhead's debuff lasts 10 seconds. What else is 10 seconds, you might ask. Broadhead's cool down is. During my boss runs, I barely have enough time to go through my skills. Even hunting and questing, I have to cycle back and forth from Magic Arrow to my debuffing attacks. I simply do not have enough time to fill anything else, hence this build. You can opt for 14 Crossfire and 1 Broadhead, but you must max Bodkin. Not only does it remove Reflect Shield (somewhat pointless, but it's there), it also reduces the target's defense by 75%. It hits hard, too, and has 0 cd for easy use. Often, I'll do Bodkin, Broadhead, Magic Arrow, Bodkin, High Anchoring, Magic Arrow, and repeat, just to get that consistent DPS going. BTW, you must have some way to cope with SP use. Potions are great and while not really cheap, effective too. Plenty of alchs want to trade their potions for Uosis. I heard Dragonfang at Klaipeda trades a decent ratio...
Important attributes
For quick reference, get Enhance attributes for the following skills:
Oblique Shot, Barrage, Spiral Arrow, Magic Arrow
Archer 1
Do not get Swift Step: Including Party Members!
Full Draw: Decreased Defense (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/301019/):
Good debuff, but only seems to work if Skew affects the target; largely useful for early game leveling
Multi Shot: Critical (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/301013/):
Fairly cheap and gives Multi Shot a moderate boost; why not?
Oblique Shot: Slow (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/301017/):
Reliable slowdown debuff on enemies between DPS skills
Max out both bow masteries.
Ranger 3
Do not get Barrage: Knockback!
High Anchoring: Critical Chance (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/302018/):
Debuff purposes
Bounce Shot: Slow (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/302015/):
More debuff! Won't proc as well as Oblique's but slows them much more intensely
Spiral Arrow: Critical
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/302016/):
Maxes in 3 points but gives you a free 39% crit. rate on Spiral Arrow. Too good!
Steady Aim: Enhance (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/302007/):
Not too important but fairly cheap, and damage is damage
Fletcher 3
Do not get Magic Arrow: Silence! It adds to cool down, opposite to what you want with Magic Arrow spam!
Arrow Crafting goes without saying.
Bodkin Point: Decreased Defense (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/309012/):
More defense shred is nice
Crossfire: Burn (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/309013/):
This is the debuff I mentioned earlier; additional damage (DoT) while you're using other skills is always a plus
Divine Machine Arrow: Shock (http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/309015/):
Add more debuffs!
You must get at least 50 levels into Magic Arrow: Enhance as soon as you can. At lv.50, you would have spent about 15M silver, but the boost is very significant. It costs roughly 75M to master from 0 to 100, so lv.50 is adequate for many things. As far as other attributes go, level Barrage: Enhance, Oblique Shot: Enhance, Spiral Arrow: Enhance moderately (30+ levels) as well, since they will be your primary hard-hitting skills until Magic Arrow. Divine Machine Arrow: Enhance should also be leveled as much as you can afford.
Stats
Since you are not Archer 2, you should consider pumping as much DEX as you can. STR doesn't benefit fletchers as much, because you won't be relying on auto-attacks at all, once you're fletcher 2. Even before so, you will most likely stop using autos at ranger 2 or 3. DEX improves your QOL late game for many reasons, notably evasion (physical enemies are a joke, and arrows will miss you quite easily) and crit rate (which the stat itself becomes less valuable as you level). While true that you cannot evade magic attacks, I'll be honest - all classes will face that issue, and the most common solution is wearing plate armor with maxed mastery. If, however, you choose to be archer 2, you can get away with adding some STR early game, for an easier time. Your target is 800 crit rate by lv.280. Add some CON in between; ideally, at lv.280 your total HP should exceed 15k - aim for 20k with equipment, and supplement with CON until you reach it.

Armor
Lv.15~150+:
Cafrisun set (http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/sets/7/)
Lv.120+ (optional):
Legwyn set (http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/sets/18/)
Lv.170+:
Roxona "set" (http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/equipment/?item_name=roxona+plate&order=name&grade=All&stars=All&search=)
Lv.240+ (optional):
Grynas set (http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/sets/23/)
Lv.240+ (optional):
Virtov set (http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/sets/27/)
Notable pieces
Lv.15: Vubbe Fighter Gauntlets
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/503101/)
Nice gloves that add a bit of STR and 2 AoE attack ratio. Helps with some of your multi-hitting skills. Quite expensive - about 1M.
Lv.170: Roxona Leather Gloves
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/503112/)
If you went high or full DEX, the crit attack from these gloves will benefit you quite well. Use this for added offense with red gems for a nice critical attack boost.
Accessories
Hair Accessories: prioritize Physical Attack and Critical Attack. Elemental Attack is fine, too. Minimally dual attack. You may also sub-in HP for an Elemental Attack if you feel fragile. Critical Rate I would not suggest but can still work out for your build. Evasion is a bonus that you may desire, but should not be your immediate concern.
Physical Attack + Elemental Attack will set you back about 500k; Physical + Critical Attack at least 1.6M, average 2M.
Necklace:
Lv.120: Health Stone
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/582111/)
Decent chunk of HP. Material for Conqueror Recipe (only requires recipe and this thing) and fairly cheap. About 250-350k.
Lv.170: Conqueror - requires Health Stone
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/583101/)
Very good HP and SP improvements with regen. as a bonus. Fairly affordable, especially vs (Max) Petamion. It's not the same use, though. About 1-1.2M.
Lv.75: Strength Pendant
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/582106/)
The poor man's Petamion, this adds a nice chunk of physical and critical damage. Very effective, and fairly affordable. Can be hunted, too. About 200k.
Lv.120: Petamion
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/583102/)
Very rare but great stat gains, +8 all. Recipe comes from Orange Harpeia in the Fallen Legwyn dungeon. About 8 mil.
Lv.170: Max Petamion - requires Petamion
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/584102/)
Recipe is cheaper than Petamion's and is a good upgrade (+14 vs +8) if you have one. Expect to pay about 10 mil total if including Petamion.
Lv.220: Terrallion
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/584105/)
Slightly less effective than Max Petamion, but not by much. (+14 vs +13) Comes as a drop from Saalus Convent at lv.240+. Untradable.
Bracelet:
Lv.75: Gladiator Band
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/603101/)
These are probably the most effective bracelets for a DEX fletcher. You get a huge improvement to critical attack and moderate STR with a bonus to multi-hit skills. I recommend this over Sissel. Costs about 7M.
Lv.170: Sissel Bracelet - requires Battle Bracelet, Hunter Bangle, Rapid Bangle
(http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/604101/)
While not a Gladiator Band and not able to trigger this bracelet's buff, don't be fooled. Adds a good amount of Phys. Attack and Crit. Rate. You can wear two of these. Costs about 8-10 mil to buy or craft from bought mats. If you intend to craft this using your own found materials, you will need to be lv.190 minimum for the Sissel recipe. Still a nice boost nonetheless, but suits the Archer 2 build better, and QS/STR archers best.
Gems
Weapon - Green (Crit. Rate)
Sub-weapon - Green (Crit. Rate)
Top - Red (HP)
Bottom - Red (HP)
Gloves - Red (Crit. Damage)
Shoes - Yellow (HP)
In-depth
You really ought to use the Cafrisun set until lv.150. You should not have issues with surviving until then, and the additional offense in the form of an additional line is a great help. You may even choose to wear this until even later. For end-game armor I suggest 4 set plate with good leather and cloth tops to sub in depending on enemy. You may choose to gear yourself strongly or not.
At lv.170, you have the option of using the Roxona Plate set, but that will set you back about 4-500k apiece, or close to 2 mil. The lv.170 white/common tier set is actually very viable here too; the Superior Infantry set gives moderate defense (much more than some comparable armor at lv.120) and a good amount of sockets should you be interested in those. Knight Armor is also a good lv.170 top.
At lv.240, you have the option to farm the lv.240 dungeon for Virtov Plate recipes. Grynas Hill also has an event randomly at the top of the hour that may rarely yield the Grynas set recipes. Roxona Plate is still top notch until Earth Tower, so only consider this if you are lucky to get the pieces or you haven't socketed your Roxona set fully. Also consider the exceptional equips by this point.
I recommend 4x Red for top and bottom, of which you may pick any level. I suggest at least 3*s on the Reds because you may encounter issues with resources whilst leveling your gems. Shoes should have a Yellow for more HP. Gloves ought to use Red for that critical damage. For weapon and sub, or bow, I recommend Green regardless if you're pure STR or pure DEX.
Using the formula:
actual crit. rate = 42/your char. level * (crit. rate stat - target crit. res.)
...and the range of crit. res. from boss monsters (ranging from close to 0 to past 100), you will need minimum 667 crit. rate stat to keep 100% actual crit. rate on targets with no crit. res at current cap (280). If however you encounter a boss with over 100, you will need probably about 800. For reference, I'm lv.207 now with a critical rate stat of 434. I have 3x 5* gems socketed, two on weapon and one on sub, for 71. You can possibly get help from crit. rate influencing buffs, but don't rely on that. That's my justification on Green regardless of stat build.
As far as other equips go, you have some notable choices. Health Stone/Conqueror are good necklaces that provide a moderate HP (and SP and regen. on both for Conq.) whereas Petamion and Max Petamion are the apex of strengthening your character. They are also just as expensive as they are useful, to be fair. You may consider a Strength Pendant, too. They're quite affordable and add a good offensive boost.
Sissel is a great bracelet even if you are unlikely to proc the buff. It adds a moderate amount of physical attack and a whopping 74 crit. rate if you have two equipped. That in itself should be more than 10% of the crit. rate you should have by lv.280 for bosses. Gladiator Band should be your ultimate goal, nonetheless, but the recipe is a random drop from Violent Cerberus' cube.
Some underrated gear:
The Riena Plate Leggings can be used for awhile - not because of the set bonus, but rather it gives 180 HP on its own with decent defense too. Ravinepede, a quest reward, is a nice cloth shoe that gives 3 useful stats: SP, HP recovery, and Poison elemental damage. Likewise, the Roxas top (leaning towards cloth) is a good quest reward and should be considered as your cloth armor sub-in.
For weapon, I suggest you carry three, depending on your budget. Grajus is great for all-around hunting, even if the -2 movement speed is undesirable. Isbality is your end-game boss hunting crossbow, with 340 damage to Devil types. Grajus will cover enemies that Isbality itself cannot cover. You should lastly carry a Khasti Bow, because it does much more damage on flying monsters than even Isbality can. For all non-flying, use Isbality or Grajus, paired with Arde Dagger minimally. Your target for an end-game sub is Manamana, which has no downsides unlike Arde or Karacha Dagger, and adds some additional effects. However, consider the costs as well.
Use your best judgment on equipment not listed here.

But my skils build is a mess
What should it be to fix this build
I'm about to buy the reset potion
Thanks
Full DEX better or Full STR better? or STR:DEX 2:1? DEX:STR 2:1??
Any recommend??
Thanks a lot and appreciate. :)
Because I have this build at lv 233. And I'm thinking to recreate to go Archer 2 too and to max DEX (currently I spent 100 points into STR and 141 into DEX)
What is your opinion, it's worth the work to recreate the char or it's better to stick with this?
Sorry. I was asleep for a long time.
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/6jsd8ofid9/
This is my optimal DPS build. 50 STR to invest first; 30-40 CON by lv280; rest DEX. You may increase STR if you use higher green gems. Go Archer 2 regardless of your rank 4 choice. Scout and Ranger 2 are both good choices for rank 4.
I originally wanted to max broadhead, magic arrow and DMA. When I'm fighting to world boss, I saw not only the broadhead can be covered, also the bodkin point! That made me want to change my skills investment.
And I'm afraid grind party don't want a fletcher without any AOE skill.
Should I invest 5 points to firecross for grinding mobs, or just max bodkin point? or any good suggest please help me...
Thanks for your reading!
want to ask about the weapon, the price of recipe becomes lower now, and maybe lower in later days ( not iTOS/kTOS), so i think it may be time for me to have/ get ready for a new set of weapon. current weapons are aston bow (lv170, atk277~416) and +3 bullet shooter(lv120 atk227~248) with arde dagger.
khasti bow, grajus and isbality are suggested above, how about maga bow? it looks better than khasti but seems too hard to get one.... should i bought khasti or just save the money then buy maga? grajus' atk is lower than other lv220 crossbow, is the damage on normal monster still better than lv220? not sure is STR+24 enough to offset that lower atk. isbality is too strong to devil type..but silver bar is too expensive on the server i am playing on, so i will consider it later... too hard to farm one...... should i buy 1 or 2 of them or better keep money to buy later?
I actually have not used Superior Kracked Shooter - that's the one you mean, right? But Grajus is exceptional for the level you can start using it. Throw some refines and you've got a nice backup for non-devils (especially beasts). You're right about it being stronger and if you're already close to 220, you could hold out for it. You can farm silver bars at 2nd Demon Prison. Not a great rate, but you can get all 8 within a couple hours. Isbality is very worth it. You can go Maga Bow since it has higher stats and provides a higher consistent bonus, too. Khasti is just much cheaper on Klaipeda (by a magnitude of 10x) and very effective for crit builds, only slightly less effective. Hope that helps.
at last, what is Klaipeda? this one/these?
http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/equipment/?item_name=Klaipeda&order=name&grade=All&stars=All&search=
I meant the Klaipeda server. You can skip Grajus if you'd like; it's just got good bonuses against Leather and Large+ enemies so if you were 170, you could have gone with that instead. Since you're close to 220, you can skip to Superior Kracked if you'd like. You should work on grinding a little more, BTW. Stay within 5 levels of map or you'll receive EXP penalties.
Silver bars can be obtained from the 2nd Demon Prison gimmick. Kill the Key Thief, go to the chest with the red soul piece, and repeat. You'll usually get gems but occasionally silver bars will drop too.
is viper bow's poison prop atk 345 useful for fletcher? my main skill are those fletcher's and Ra's barriage.
i read some posts wrote that viper is for wugushi, but i think it can add good damages to fletcher skills like broadhead and magic arrow?
Don't bother. Viper is extremely expensive for what it is, and it's a mediocre bow at best. Poison itself isn't a great element, either. It's not particularly strong, either. If you intend to spend that much, you may get a Maga Bow instead. Otherwise, Khasti Bow is cheap and strong.
maybe i should try earning money from selling items then buy 8 silver bars for my isbality.
do you know what price maga bow is at? on your server (maybe compared to vip(30days).)
Token: 700k
Maga Bow: 2M
Viper: 1.6-2M
Don't try key thief now. Spawn rate has been "fixed" to 30 minutes. But yeah, you may want to sell the wares you acquired and buy silver bars.
not sure the spawn rate here, im playing on taiwan(in fact is TW+HK+MACAU) TOS, same setting as iTOS, but doesnt replease the latest update of iTOS yet. maybe i can farm some more gems to upgrade my first lv5 gem...haha!!
maga is so cheap!! i must wait for it.
now in taiwan 2nd server,
token 400~480k
magabow recipe: 6.5M or higher (only one is put into market days ago)
khast 1M
viper 700K~1M
maga bow recipe 4M...
Hi, I am a pure dex fletcher(accidentally added 4 con though ==), lvl207 currently, got some okay equips, current stat cri att:cri rate 370++:360++ (can't remember the exact figure). using khasti bow and maga bow at the moment.
I had magic arrow 5, bodkin shot 5, broadhead 10, crossfire 3(damn should have just keep it at 1)
Mind giving me some opinions regarding divine machine arrow since you are currently at lvl 244 coz I found that broadhead is great for pvp. So far, more or less one bodkin and one broadhead is more than enough to kill most character in friendly duel (tested). Hence, I would like to max out broadhead and bodkin for pvp and pve purpose. Is divine machine arrow worth the spending point on it ?
Thx for reading
DMA is _very_ strong. In PVP, it is almost vital since it will almost kill most targets, and any ones that could not block but didn't die will be inflicted with "Shock" status - lowers INT and SPR on target. Furthermore, even in PVE it is very useful - for me, it deals first hit about 16k with a follow up explosion slightly less, for about 30k damage (and 14k to surrounding mobs). KB is irrelevant since it deals high damage. If you're worried about mobbing, fire DMA towards your group so that mobs fly into them. Also, your skill build is fine. You may pass on Bodkin if you'd like, but if DEF is an important factor later on (it isn't quite necessary yet), Bodkin will be the skill to keep. Broadhead bleed won't scale but it is also very useful for PVP nonetheless.
Your stats are fine, too. I would suggest investing minimum 30 CON anyway, and I myself will aim for 30.
So i read your other guide that went A2-R2. Do you think it would be much better to reroll my char since i went A1-R3 and got my str 150 and dex about 60?
You can always "fix" builds; you just need a few changes to your character.
1) You need to pump strictly DEX only now, with some CON.
2) You will need to focus more on crit rate on your stats, to make up for your lower DEX. Double Sissel, lv7+ green gems, and crit rate hair accessories are among your options. This will be slightly more expensive but you will at least consistently get your Magic Arrow damage up. Crit rate is the most beneficial stat for fletchers (especially for Magic Arrow).
well right now i got double sissel waiting for me at 170 and full crit attk + crit dmg on my headgears.
also will make manamana with above 7 star gem. with my str should i stop pumping?
You'll need 800 crit rate without assistance/other buffs (Zalciai, etc) to have 100% actual crit rate. You should maximize gems instead (need lv7+ on weapons too) because you can get a lot more stat value out of crit damage items (2x Gladiator Band and Khasti, for example) vs crit rate (easier to get from stats and gems, but equips provide a scarce amount - hair acc OK). You should keep raising DEX nonetheless - helps with your evade and STR doesn't boost Magic Arrow as much as other skills. Your target is 800 at lv280, as close as you can get. Since you're high STR though, you should be OK with double Sissel.
For Ranger 3, ideally you need full DEX (no Swift Step: Critical Rate) for both the crit rate and evasion. Add 30 CON, or enough 'til 15k+ HP at lv280. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/stat-calculator/build/e7j0ojwrjp/ For the record, I am currently almost full DEX, and have started investing into CON, at lv242.
For Archer 2, you only need enough to meet 640 crit rate at lv280. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/stat-calculator/build/bhnvp2iqpo/
In both cases, you will need (if without the assistance of party members or other buffs, e.g. Zalciai scrolls) at least lv7 green gems in your weapons at lv280. Lv7 is definitely possible considering the grind to 280 right now.
Thanks for the detailed reply, but you posted the same link twice. What's the link for the archer2 version?
Nevermind I found the answer in the comments of the actual archer2 build. You said: "You won't go full DEX with this, because with Swift Step Critical Rate, you'll only need somewhere around 600 crit rate at lv280 to have 100% crit rate on anything. (Need 800 roughly for Ranger 3 build - 75% of that is 600.) You are free to start with STR first for easier leveling. Remember, you need Swift Step Critical Rate for this to work.
By lv280 you should aim for something like 50-100 STR (depending on crit rate equipment), 30-50 CON (depending on HP/defense on equipment), and about 600 or less total DEX. The remaining stats are yours to decide - either more DEX for ensured crit rate and less reliance on crit rate equipment, or more STR for higher base damage and crit damage."
I guess I'll put around 50 points into str, 30 into con and the rest into DEX. That should leave some points for free distribution in case I find some amazing equipment. I'm still completely new to the game and thus don't know what's ahead.
can we see a bit of sneak peek with pure crit build?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYPcAztAL7c
Here's one of me rushing Legwyn awhile back. I need to record a newer version. Any other media you want to see?
If you are Archer 2, your stats are fine. Just add DEX onward. Keep in mind there are no Stat Reset Potions unless you had a Founder's Pack. You can go Musketeer or Cannoneer instead as well for R7.
Barbed is especially bad for bosses. Most are Ghost or Plate armor, meaning you will deal 0-1 hits.
fear not, i have stat reset pot and im hitting 280 soon. I already fletch c3 so cant musk now. So how should i put my dex and str and also con, considering i have all those end game gear.
Excellent. CON should be enough so you have at least 15k base HP for Earth Tower, so I'm told. DEX should be as much as you can get 800 crit rate on your stat window. Once you hit 800 crit rate with equips and enough DEX, you can dump the remaining points into STR if you'd like.
amazing ! tq bro
for green gems, if i were to put 2-3 gems which lv is preferred? it is hard enough to make lv6 gem...
So if im to get lv10 gem, how many i should socket for my main weapon and 2nd weapon slots? 2 or 3 gems each ?
"Fantastic AoE" (Crossfire is not really good).
So, the thing is i already have a Archer 1 - Ranger 3 - Fletcher 2 currently on level 190 (going Fletcher 3) which is my secondary character for world boss hunting purpose only.
At the moment i am: 7 Barbed Arrow, 7 Crossfire, 10 Magic Arrow and 1 Broadhead.
My Questions:
1. To make use of your guide, do i need to reset my skills or i can go for 1 Broadhead, 15 Bodkin Point, 7 Barbed Arrow, 7 Crossfire, 10 Magic Arrow and 5 Divine Machine Arrow and still be good?
2. When fighting bosses, what skill rotation do you recommend?
Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance!
Errata: At the moment i am 7 Barbed Arrow, 7 Crossfire, 5 Magic Arrow (still class rank 6) and 1 Broadhead.
1. Perfect and spot-on. I agree with your choice here. You can also move points from Crossfire, but that is very much an option.
2. Here's a rough flow chart.

Summary: Always have Steady Aim active whenever possible. Go through the order of the skills I listed. Crossfire should not be spammed like most other Fletchers do - it is a huge SP sink and less effective than cycling through other skills.
Good luck, and thanks for following.
http://i.imgur.com/cayr4DQ.png
Anyway, if your target boss is cloth or leather, you can replace Spiral with Barbed, or add it after Spiral - it'll do a fair amount, so why not.
1. A1>R3>F3 (like your build, maxing steady aim)
2. A2>R2>F3 (25% more crit from swift step, but 5% damage from steady aim, also with steady aim nerf, A2 seems much better)
3. A2>R2>S1/W1>F3 (some say W1/S1 is much better than R3)
Here's my other build:
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/6jsd8ofid9/
Since the full draw attribute have LV.5(which means 50% decreasing) , shouldn't i make Bodkin just to 10/15 then i can have 100%? i mean, is there a additional damage when u max 15/15 having 125% of decreasing?
thx for explaination :)
for crossfire, if i only have it like 5/15, will it be hard for me doing grind? i mean i will have less AOE right?
They do really high damage, but keep in mind that most world bosses now don't last more than a minute if they're popular. At best with musketeers you'd get two rotations in of skills and have to cover the off-skill time with something else. The advantage of Magic Arrow is it lies on the ground for a few seconds or up to 25 ticks at 10/10 skill point investment. For me, that means 4000 average, or 100k damage per Magic Arrow. Since I can lay multiple before they wear off (typically one MA lasts 7 seconds in bossing and cd is 5), I can rack up about 150k damage in the span of one arrow, or about 20k damage a second.
78 STR, 22 Con,3 int, 40 spr ( RIP) , 33 dex unequipped
what should I do now ? : ( , and for next class, I will take fletch 3 Or fletch 2 + cannoneer , so cannoneer do any good with fletch 2 ? planing to use crossbow and cannon as main. whats the DPS ratio between cannoneer fleth 2 and fletchc3 ? 40-60 ? or ?
and yeah Im really agree with your bodkin, but maybe will do 1 bleed and 9 crossfire for cannoner or 1 bleed 14 crossfire.
I dont have amount of time to make new char and I dont have stat reset ;(
Fletchers are very much single target killing machines whereas Cannoneers are great at AoE. If you go just two circles of Fletcher (and I honestly think that's your best option), you're spot-on. You can just grab 1 Broadhead and the rest into Crossfire. You should get Bodkin, though - it really is good. You can still make good with your build. CON is fine - don't raise it much more. SPR won't help much but you can't get rid of it. I'd say pump STR - if you PVP, go for 50-80 DEX (like Swordies).
Good luck!
Obs.: I'm doing a full PvE build, mostly playing alone
1. I'm not going full dex, neither full str. I'm going 2 str : 1 dex since I don't like the crit mechanic in this game and it don't have stat reset (i'm currently lvl 154). The fletcher part works with my stats build? (I currently use critical shot for "autoattack")
2. You do not have small aoe dmg since you don't max crossfire? Or Magic Arrow is enough? Ps.: I do not use high anchoring, I do not like it.
3. Barbed Arrow is this bad? Or I could go bodkin 10/15 and barbed 5/10 since I already have barbed 5/5? Should I reset my skills?
Barbed is completely pointless unless you know the target armor beforehand, and even so, lv5 Barbed is weaker than lv5 Spiral in most cases. Barrage completely overshadows Barbed, too. So you lose out on 5 SP that could have gone into something better. Your build is still OK. Just don't forget Bodkin (max it). Decide between 1/15 Broadhead and 9/15 Crossfire, or 5/15 Broadhead and 5/15 Crossfire. Decent damage on both regardless.
Maxed Crossfire or not, you can choose between 1/15 Broadhead (for the Bleed) and 14/15 (9/15) Crossfire, or what I have. Crossfire isn't as strong as you might think. I use it mostly to damage multiple enemies in between CDs with a chance at burning them.
As far as stats go, you are still OK. Just pump DEX in now. STR benefits you less as you completely rely on skills (don't AA - use Oblique instead) but it does provide critical damage. You are still fine. Just increase your DEX only.
