After a lot of research and a lot of pondering I've decided to make this Wugush guide for the upcoming opbt. It's important to say it again: this is a full pve full dps build. The description is kinda long but this is a guide so it’s expected. Let's talk about the choices here: the skills, subclasses and all.
Status wise, forget dex, we don't want that. Know that our poison dmg can't crit. No need for int nor spr too. Focus mainly on str / con. Something like a 3-1 rate.

Multi shot - A great low level boss killer. Get 1 level on oblique, then max this.
Oblique shot - A good enough skill to grind in the early levels. 1/5 and that's it.
Swift step - This skill is quite good, both pve and pvp wise. Some boss skills require you to dodge and you should be able to move in and out of danger at any time. 6 seconds downtime is nothing for that dodge chance and movespeed.
Just spend the remaing points on Full draw.
Rank 2 - Why not c2 archer? Because it lacks further aoe. Kneeling shot is a good skill for pve, but we don't get any dex so. Ranger gives you some good aoe.
Barrage - Go for it. Nice dmg, nice aoe. Max is first.
High anchoring - Half nice half crap skill. Max it as your second dmg source.
Steady aim - Kinda useless for us since it will not increase our poison dmg, but still better than critical shot. Gives us some dmg with Cannoneer.
Rank 3 - Don't go for c3 ranger. You get nothing from it, and I mean nothing. Sapper gets us some more aoe to work with, weight increase attribute. And a nice outfit (this REALLY matters).
Stake stockades - Max this first. Awesome skill on maps with high mob density and even better with peltasta or linker party.
Claymore - Max this second. But get one level on detonate to make this work.
Detonate traps - 1/5 is enough.
Punji stake - Not the best skill, even so it's one more aoe spell to use while others are on cd. 4/5
Rank 4 - The first step of our dream. The hardest one. C1 wugush lacks aoe so you will be depending on your previous skills. But when a boss shows up, you can poison it to the ground. I mean it.
Needle blow - Mainly boss fights and pvp. Max this baby second.
Wugong gu - This skill used to be crap, but has been changed a little and got really nice. Max this first. Single target poison spreading to nearby targets on hit.
Zhendu - Apllies poison to every party member next atack. Boss only. 1/5.
Rank 5 - Use that unspent points here.
Throw gu pot - This is our new best friend. Nice dmg 6 seconds aoe poison. 35 sec cd is normal at this point of the game. Use the unspent previous points to max it first and go grinding.
Wugong gu - Max this second and save the rest of the points. Since Needle blow is almost boss only, right now you don't need it capped.
Rank 6 - The time is now! If you kept your points unspent as before, here your overall dmg spikes a lot.
Throw gu pot - Max it second. Our best aoe spell. Duration still the same but almost double the dmg per tick.
Jincan Gu – There’s nothing better than see your enemies eaten by bugs that spawn more bugs. You just have to kill the first minion. The skill description lack dmg info but believe me brother, this is good. Max it first.
Needle blow - 24/7 high dmg poison on boss fights. Dps can't really go much higher.
Zhendu - This is a boss fight only and I keep it at level 1.
Wugong gu - Max this third and use it when the others aoe spells are on cd.

Cannon Shot - Insane overall dmg for 84 sp and a 5 sec cd? My body is ready sir. Max it first
Cannon blast - Highest dmg in here. Really nice cd. Max it second.
Siege burst - Another very good spell for almost no cd.
Shootdown - One level to deal with some annoying flying bastard.

assuming using a manamana as a sub weapon, I was thinking between grajus, isbality or catacombs shooter

Its should be fine. You just pass the ranger and choose sapper c1 for 3rd cycle, you just miss some of AoE skill
Also I would not suggest getting Sapper C1, its basically a C2 Class. Broom Trap is the bread and butter of Sapper. C1 doesn't have enough to offer and C3 doesn't add enough to C2 to be worth a whole circle.
I'd also suggest 1 point in Jincan Gu it's damage difference from Rank 1 to Rank 5 is very minimal. Those 4 points are better spent maxing Gu Pot and Added to Zhendu, at least in Jincans current form.
Now both skills, from ranger and sapper are useless, because them do almost no damage, when wugushi skills are in colldown i can do nothing but wait. If i had used ranger 2 i would have less skills but i would have better skills.
Um,you do realize mostly just base dmg will rank up to the point there will be less skills and still almost as useless? :P (you do get bomb but meh..)
The skills you really want to get are on R7 from cano to fill your wugu gaps until then whether it's c1 or c2 ranger is matter of preference.(Sapper gives you 1 extra costume,haha)
I would say it's similar to some other specs where you need to bare it for build to feel ''complete'' later on.
Also let's not forget we will gat more ranks in future so there is a possibility going sap 2 or higher might be an option to add some ''functioning'' aoe etc.

Think one of main reasons (apart costume :P ) Is to have more aoe skills instead of just stronger aoe.As levelling ranger won't give you additional ones.
also poison dot scales with your physical damage, and that scales with your str. poison doesnt crit so dex is useless for a wugushi, unless you miss a lot.
rather, dex build would work better with ranger>fletcher/musk since they are single target dps class.
I'm playing this build. I'm currently lvl 229 and I have enjoyed every single moment of it.
Would pick Ranger C2 instead of Sapper C1 if I could do it all over again.

Thx,just what I thought might be case but with this build it seems some skills get lost along way hehe,and sapper brings some fun factor.
Steady aim was the one skill I saw having some lategame impact from ranger but agree it shouldn't be game breaker.
Also way it is we don't know yet what will occupy other job ranks in future.It could be sap 2 or even 3 if there is some synergy ,who knows...
wugushi is awesome nonetheless, i fill the gap between poison spam with crit shot and jumping around.
