Summary
The goal is to increase the duration of all the Zaelot buffs with Melstis and use the other Krivis and Paladin skills as a filler for downtimes.
Take enough SP potions with you because you will drink a lot of them.
This also makes Glass Mole Card a viable choice.
Alternative
Paladin is interchangeable with Monk. But I dont like the Monks dps skills thats why I took Paladin.
Stats
- Full STR
- get some crit rate from gear and/or gems
- get some HP from gear so that you feel comfortable with your HP pool (because you can not heal yourself while Fanaticism is running)
Attributes
Besides the obvious damage enhancing attributes there are some other nice attributes that will further increase dps by quite a lot.
- Blind Faith: Holy Impact - maxed out this will basically increase your crit damage by 50% on targets you hit with Blind Faiths additional damage
- Beady Eyed: Ambush - extra crit change after using Beady Eyed
Enhance attributes priority:
Fanatic Illusion > Immolation > Demolition > Conviction > Smite > (Zaibas)
Skills and Rotations
Your basic lazy AoE rotation that will desintegrate every mob arround you is:
- Fanaticism > Fanatic Illusion > Melstis (to increase buff durations) > Blind Faith > Beady Eyed (for gap close and extra crit) > Immolation (for extra dps if you have lots of enemies arround you)
If your AoE skills are on cooldown you can use your Paladin and Krivis spells for some damage
the most common combos are:
- Conviction > Smite (for smaler groups or single enemies)
- Zalciai (crit resi reduction) > Demolition (for larger and stacked groups of enemies)
- Conviction > Divine Stigma > Zaibas
Other skills:
- Resist Elements - can be used to further reduce enemies resistances on larger groups - but it has a long CD
- Sanctuary - you can pick this instead of Resist Elements but this is inconvinient to use.. because you have to swith to onehand plus shield
- Restauration - I use this to increase the heal amount of my heal tiles because we only have level 5 heal
- Invulnerable - straight forward knockback immunity

Does Zaibas not scale with INT? Is not it better to put Dainos lv15?
at first I went with green gems but than I changed it for reds and I'm happy with it so far
paladin is a bit more bursty and with the right timing on Beady Eyed (crit attribute) you get decent crit rate even without green gems plus I always got a chrono in my party for the extra 150 critrate from quicken
its fun to put zalciai under a stacked mob group than use beady exed and demolition with about 30 AoE attack ratio :) its always beautiful to see how the damage numbers bubbles out of the enemies :D
Can you tell me the differences between the Paladin 3 and Monk 3 ? I'm interested in going for Monk but i can't help being afraid of regreting it later on. And in case i choose to go for Monk, what Stats do you recommend for me? thanks man :)
I have chosen pala because i like the style and I dont really like monks :)
Kabba is super useful because you will waste a lot of sp... It will work without but you need tons of potions and I have a ein sof slave most of the time xD
Using fanaticism was okay most of the time but I changed some skills I rarely used and I maxed resist elements now.
Its pretty nice with a 100% uptime thanks to its long duration and melstis
- Fanaticism > Fanatic Illusion > Blind Faith > Melstis (to increase buff durations) > Beady Eyed (for gap close and extra crit) > Immolation (for extra dps if you have lots of enemies arround you)"
my only sugestion to this is to use blind faith first or after meltis. even if you extend its duration with meltis it still has a maximum of 40 hits and if you are aoeing with illusion and imolation those 40 hits will quickly evaporate long before its duration. Using meltis immediately after Fanatic Illusion will also grant more time on the aoe for moar damage
you might loose a second or two on fanatic illusion tho yeah
for my setup for challenge and such I'm using blind faith completely outside of this rotation because I'm waiting for Life Line > Empowering > Ein Sof for maximum SP
