Stats for those who plan to do PvP with this build. If you plan on transitioning to this stat make sure your Dex stats are always 60-65% of your Str stats. Then switch over to this stat allocation and you won't have lost any benefits. This is create to have a good enough accuracy against other high Dex PvP players.

Armor:
I don't care what you wear. There are two exceptions:
1. Do not wear any sort of cloth armor. I hope this is obvious.
2. Always wear gloves with the highest accuracy (leather ones usually). This is a must for PvP. See the 'Glove Guide' below.
3. If you want to only use this build for PvE then wearing all plate is fine
Try to get ones with the highest accuracy. I have listed example of the leather gloves with the best accuracy per level. You will need to start equipping green gems (increases accuracy) into your gloves if even this accuracy is not enough.
Also remember to consider weapon-armor weaknesses before deciding on what to wear or what weapon to use:

Lets clear up some really confusing short forms used on the wiki. You have this wiki's staff to thank for this. None of their editors stick to a single acronym and each one uses their own and most of them are different from what you find in-game. I won't repeat them if I already explained them for a different gem. Also this is a list of only the non intuitive acronyms used.

GEM LEVELING GUIDE
To level your gem you can do one of the following:
1. Best way is using Gem Abrasive. These drops from multiple bosses. You need to be lucky.
2. Second best is using any useless Monster Gem that you may have as feed. You'll be surprised at the exp they give. Again you need to be lucky to get these.
3. Feed them other gems. Or farm for them.
4. Feed cheap materials as gem feed. They give only around 5-10+ exp each time, but if you buy them in bulk like spending 100-250k on them. Then keep on feed that gem. It will accumulate and you can get lots of exp from them combined.

GLOVE GUIDE
NOTE: When you reach a certain level, I'm going to start recommending you to insert green gems in your glove slots. If you aren't able to level up your gem to my recommended level, then try inserting multiple lower level gems that come -5 to +5 of the stats for the gem level I recommend. Refer to the chart above.
Lv 10-40: Don't bother just level up
lv 40-75: Just get the gloves with the highest accuracy you can find. Don't bother with farming for any sort of specific gloves. It isn't worth your time.
Lv 75-120: Try getting gloves with accuracy higher than or equal to 48. Any one of the following will do:
Brigandine Gloves: 48 acc
Drake Leather: 49 acc
Superior Brigandine: 52 acc
Shade Hands: 51 acc
Prima Leather Gloves: 57 acc
Lv 120-170:You may want to embed low level green gems into your gloves for accuracy. Insert lv 3-4 green gem after level 150. Search for these specific gloves.
Fedimian Leather Gloves: 62 acc
Hunting Gloves: 67 acc
Skirmisher Gloves: 74acc
Legwyn Famility Leather Gloves: 77acc
Lv 170-220: Aim for these gloves below. Plus you'll want to insert a lv4-6 green gem
Superiro Skirmisher Gloves: 87acc
Roxona Leather Gloves: 91acc

Lv 220-270: Again aim for the gloves below. Plus you'll want to insert lv7-8 green gem

NOTE:Go ahead and max this one out with gems if you want. The level cap will not increase for a while.
EDIT: Previously I've said that if you extract gems you'll loose it. This was the old mechanic which I've been going by. Back when they allowed you to upgrade equipment to like +40. I've been too scared to extract any gems for fear of loosing it. Hence, I never found out until someone informed me.
Note: When you remove the gem it's level decreases by 1. It is the same thing as when you fail in upgrading your gear. It's potential drops by 1 and so does it's upgrade level (+15 --> +14). Previously failing the upgrade meant your weapon or armor would reset it's level to zero (+0). Then you have to start all over again. Glad that changed!

For those of you who went with Swords C3 I recommend Switching Barb C2 with Cata.
I prefer to have it this way due to the mobility from Cata.
Sorry not Barb C2 but Exchange it with Doppel instead. That means you'll be going just Doppel C1 and you'll make a switch at rank 8 (so will I most prob) to a better damage class.

Hi. i followed your previous ver. im already swrd c3 class level 15 going to barb however, i just checked this, and the build is now updated. is it okay to have the previous skill build which is 3 gung ho and 3 concetrate, then 15 pain barrier with 5 pommel and 5 double slash ?
what should i do now following your updated build?
should i buy reset skill or is it fine and then continue to follow the barb c1 build?

1. For the revious version yes you need 2H sword for Doppel's Ridel, zucken and Zornhau.
2. Yes, it is as you say, though High lander is also good at PvP, but Swords C2 is definitely a PvP exclusive.
3. More on Str like 40-50% of all allocated points you put into your Build. But it's very important that your Dex be 65-70% of your Str as well.
4. Yes, 10-15% of all your points should go into Spr only for the Spr though. Not much point in doing it for the mag def unless you plan on doing PvE and for tanks.
Embowl isn't really necessary. It's useful for surprising and running some area benefits that magic casters can use. Like safety wall, push them out of it and no longer protected or if they have healing areas, statues you can get them out of that region and then block their way.

I got another matter regarding this class build. Can I use two-handed sword with this build? Coz ive seen some reports, especially in the F2P release, that a swordsman who took c2/c3 classes wont be able to use 2-handed swords, even if they took barbarian class.

Question if this is a true DPS build why is Gung Ho and Concentrate not max? Aren't those one of the best buffs for swordsman?
Most of their power comes from their maxed out attribute. But, It's a shame I can't max them out since the other skills offer a much better benefit for those points. Now I find that Pommel even with it's ignore defense and additional damage on stunned enemies doesn't offer much in terms of damage so I tool that out and distributed the points to Gungh Ho and Concentrate. That's the best I can do for them. But, most of the buffing will come for Barb C2.
Can I just take the points from pain barrier and put it on Concentrate and Gung Ho?
You could but that's more of a PvE nature where you want to maximize auto-attacks and not a PvP thing. Since, you chose this build I can only assume that you want to do PvP. Then pain barrier would be more useful ate game than a few points on Gung ho and Concentrate since they are eclipsed by better buffs like war cry, frenzy, deeds and the maxed of attribute of gung ho and concentrate provide 90% of their benefit anyway.
So, go ahead if you want to, but it might not be as beneficial as you think in a PvP setting.
the fuck. I followed this but it suddenly change. The last guide shows a c3 swordsman. Now it shows that is not needed anymore. So basically, It ruined everything. Geez
First of all I want to apologize. I understand your frustrations and I'm sorry. But, understand that this is the same as if I created an alternate PvP build and linked it. The reason I didn't do it that way is since I have some 20 different builds I'm already managing and I just want to use one of it for PvP. This does not mean that you screwed up or the previous version was bad. It's just an opinion on my part. When you make a conscious decision to follow a build, you follow it , understand it's choices and modify it according to your needs, you don't follow everything the build creator does, since their opinions will more or less change down the road.
Now, if you chose C3 swords, you cna still exchange a Doppel for Cata. I believe mobility is quite important too. You won't be losing much it terms of damage since I'll be choosing a different class at rank 8, since in PvP rather than pure damage what is most important is:
1. Mobility
2. CC skills (Stuns from Swords and Barb)
3. Damage
as you can see damage is the least important, compared to my view of it earlier.
So, your build isn't screwed not unless you took Doppel C2 and are at rank 7. As long as you didn't take that you can always put a Cata into it.
Also there are some minor annoyances with this build which you won't experience for the older version. You can see when you copy this build that there are plenty of skills that can't be used with a mount. So, it isn't as fluid as other Cata builds and you'll have to keep mounting or unmounting to use certain skills. Kind of like a weapon swap. So, I still don't know how this build will turn out. But, I intend to make it work. Also thanks for not cursing at me.
im kinda frustrated but its fine. Don't apologize, its just shows that im a bit noob in the game but im learning. Well the c3 work out fine since i can do restrain 10/10 which is 40% stun rate and good for pvp.
btw im not a rage player who do cursing. lol
