This build came to me when planning to run Earth Tower most wizards builds for ET typically go cyromancer then chronomancer which is quite strong cc from cryro skills and pass from chronomancer to reduce cooldwoon times by 25 seconds which helps you have skills spamble like krivis 3 and devi 3 combo
Cryro skills only draw and freeze but for the DPS in the group it just holds mobs in place but that's all it offers for your ET group its recommended you take Chronomancer3 in your ET group
Another version you can do is http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/4n5gjkq2rd/ or http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/f6buqq0nbl/ have the choice of sage or go linker 3 this gives you pass and allows you get off 3 Joint Penalty before pass is up again which allows you take more DPS in your party you can still freeze a few things from rank 1 cryro
As for stats distribution Con and Spr are pretty much all you should look at if you use this properly without heavy reliance on Sp potions also we take Life Line which shares your stats allows your Party members a bit more breathing room but you are limited to being close to each other to prevent the link being broken but the cyromancer brings mobs right to you and at times can keep them off if need be
If you prefer to PvP with this build its pretty powerful Frost Pillar into Joint Penalty will help take care of most archers hold down warriors sence most physical attack builds out now recommended the pure stat DEX build but no amount of DEX will let you evade magic and like with ET Con and Spr are your best bet
Sage is debatable in being taken sence its only use is missile hole that blocks 16 ranged attacks and if recasted before it's duration is over it won't refresh the hit counters so if you do take sage recast missile hole afther buff has timed out portal is some what useful but not in ET just moving around
An alternative is going enchanter for prebuffing gear before going into EarthTower to reduce armor deterioration and give you con for how much Spr you have the ratio is 20spr is 1 thus why its good to take Spr and give magic defense since most rank 8 content is strongly centred around magic damage
Now as for early leveling it will be hard if you solo if you have help along the way it will be a nice ride to 200 at that lvl you can find grind parties and havening linker 2 around lvl 200 which is at that point Joint Penalty is at lvl 10 so its a spot you can easily take
Now for those new to the game and want a build that's going to get into most any mid to late(End Game but rank 9 will come so there will be new lvl cap and possibly new classes to take but no information has been released yet) For someone with little to no funding this will be a long grind to rank 6 and this build won't allow you to farm sence cryro skills lack damage unless you go INT and SPR I personal wouldn't recommended new players to follow this build but if you at least 1 other person to help you along the way it's doable
Now for boss cards its up to whatever you see fit as for me personally I have on as many refeclt type damaging cards like mineloader which reflects lightning damage sence you rly don't have much damage and if your taking the recommended stats you can kinda face tank anything wouldn't recommended it but you could if you wanted and the cards reflect some damage you take
Now for gear that's up to you its more less cloth if you have more Con than Spr and plate if you have more Spr than Con most ppl say stack Con only but HP isn't going to stop the lack of magic defense you have from low Spr you can do a pure stat build neither one is better same for hybrid stats attributes make up 90% of skill damage before gear weapon and gems are applied into the mix there's no shortcut either way it comes down to your funding to cover from what you lack and life line only shares stats such as DEX STR CON INT SPR so your personal gear won't save your friends
Weapon at early game (Level 40) IceRod from level 50 dungeon cube or buy from market from the last time I checked it was around 10k no more than 20k the rod boost all your cryro skills by +1 so a bit helpful till lvl 170 which is when you can buy Audra staff which requires lvl 170 which gives all cryo skills plus 2 there have been reported bugs about freeze time not working properly or reduce freeze time (No idea if this is fixed by now just reports from the forum)
You can just stick with this staff or use a 1hand weapon along with shield or dagger I'm not going into specifics on what other weapon combinations you can use that's personal choice and we no real damage just Joint Penalty and extra damage from what auto attacks I'd just buy this staff stick with it an buy high quality end game armor sets this staff is quite pricey if you can't afford don't worry just use icerod and maybe an arde dagger if you get one from 90 dungeon but if you don't have you can use the Ice Rod and cleric buffs till level 200 then grind away parties rack up silver then buy as you see fit your not a DPS so the ice rod and Audra staff are your bread and butter
Best to follow the guide as you see fit not what others say not what I say but what helps you and fits you play style but don't forget this builds main focus of Earth Tower Or PVP it can be used for other things maybe try going INT and see how much damage you can rack up heh maybe see if cryo can do same damage as pryo linker combo
