Okay I've been holding in trying to comment negatively on bad builds and recommendations, but this is ridiculous. If anybody follows this build, they are making a huge mistake. The person who made this has apparently never played fencer.
The class path is fine, sword 2 is kind of eh, but for longer pain barrier I guess it's passable. Taking pelt over sword2 is a personal preference, but if you take sword 2+ for PvP purposes and don't take corsair as well, there's something wrong. Pain barrier is okay, but I think it's a bit overrated. Sword2 isn't too bad though.
From now on, this will be less about opinion and more about actual experience.
There is no point in taking thrust at all. You will literally never use it. Would be better off dumping those points into gung ho, although none of the sword circle buffs are in a good spot right now.
The barb 3 circles is actually quite good, so I'll give you that.
The fencer circles, which is primarily what this guide is about, are terrible. Why on earth would you not max your circle 3 skills? Especially epee. This is absurd, and following this skill path would be the easiest way to ensure that you are playing the weakest fencer in the game regardless of your gear. Having sept 13 is ridiculous. Sept in general is in a bad state right now and not worth the time it takes to use. Leave at 1 for a filler. Preparation is better used with a lot of other skills, primarily lunge. Lunge+prep is the most DPS you can currently get out of preparation. I don't know if you just aren't aware of this or not, but +2 fencer skills weapons let you go past the max cap of skills, so you can turn epee, au fer, balestra, fleche, into level 7.
Compossee level 10 is extremely unrealistic as well, except under extremely specific circumstances. The tipping point is usually capping it at 5(+2 from venier, so effectively 7). If you want to sit around all the time or have a million cash shop elixirs or keistas recovery pots, then fine. If you have a pocket krivis 3 wherever you go, then level 10 is acceptable too. If your class path had effective filler classes that enable you to have a lot of downtime on composee, that is also fine. However, barbarian fencer does not support this in the slightest.
Fleche is not very good. This is the only acceptable 3/5 circle 3 fencer skill. I personally have it at 0 until we get the combat update because if you have a very high composee attribute, fleche can't keep up and is just unnecessary time waste and DPS drain. It can also only hit 2 mobs regardless of your AoE attack ratio, so if you build for AoE attack ratio, composee wins automatically.
Now to address what you have typed leading up to the actual build:
You really do not need green gems on your off hand, especially as a BARB 3. Your cleave with wild nature 5 will give +100 crit rate with decent uptime. "Or any rapier with decent physical damage" No, there are a lot of specific options to choose from, and your readers should know about them, because this guide implies it is written for someone with no experience and then leads them to having a lot of experience. Paojritas dagger is of course a better alternative to small crystaras, and is worth mentioning.
For wearing plate armor, stamina should not factor into your decision for using this specific armor type. It is easily recoverable at all stages in the game with stamina pills. Having more stamina achieves nothing, especially with the reduction in stamina consumption for pouncing. Also what the hell? You recommended gung ho level 50 attribute...but have no points in gung ho? What? It is also important to note that pouncing:knockdown should ONLY be turned on for PvP. Also, there is no real need for frenzy:maintain stacks to be turned on. The ONLY time frenzy gets reset is if you AUTO ATTACK another enemy. This means your actual skills won't interfere with the stack count of frenzy.

Your comment about sept is entirely incorrect. I have level 50 sept attribute and it is still garbage and not worth investing a lot of skill points into over composee. Lunge 17 isn't leveled that high for the evasion bonus, it is leveled that high because it has VERY high DPS. Also, 170% evasion can potentially last for more than just a few seconds, if you pick pelt instead of sword2. You can cast lunge, and then cast guardian from peltasta, and when lunge runs out, the evasion you gained from casting guardian while under the influence of lunge still remains. This also has 100% uptime.
Your combo also sucks. Why would you need use coquille before casting lunge? The best way to accomplish this is actually preparation->coquille->lunge because coquille isn't a pierce attack, so you start the preparation cooldown as quickly as possible.
1/10. Would not recommend build made by someone who has no experience with fencer. The 1/10 is only because you actually have a solid barbarian build somehow.
One thing ppl seem to do wrong now after patch.
maxing a skill now has become less important due the fact they only scale in %... some skills after lv5 don't even scale that much anymore, and if u gonna waste 15 points to archive a sh!ty 50% more dmg in that skill you could be better simply invest 5 points in 3 different skills that could easily give you almost 200% dmg on each one...
At best you should focus in only 1 max 2 skills to max. The new patch has brought new room to skill and stats distribution.

It felt ok, but since Fencer is not my main class, and I was following a Corsair c1 path build. I can't really say how it worked out for me in the end.
ATM I have my character all Reseted and I haven't touch it ever since.
)I have a dream of having Corsair C3 + Fencer C3 together but, doesn't seem its going to happen any time soon.~ )
