This skill has a very small damaging area and it can be hard to get its full effect. That being said, it does a lot of damage if you can get the enemy to sit on it for the duration. Most easily achievable on bosses when someone is tanking them in place or mobs that have been brought together by another skill (e.g. Hangman's Knot).

EACH INDIVIDUAL DAMAGE TIC OF THIS SKILL CAN BE A CRITICAL HIT. Unlike the Fletcher's bleed from Broadhead. Perhaps this is because the damage source is the flames on the ground as opposed to a status effect on the enemy, respectively.

A good boss slaying skill but can be cumbersome to use for normal mobs.
