STAT DISTRIBUTION: If you got a Transed +16 Weapon and you feel your weapon can carry you STR SPR CON(Some DEX is optional). Mostly CON some SPR and a bit of STR. Having some SPR feels great, gives some MDEF and saves you money on pots. Not to mention doppel eat sp like a son of a bitch.
I got around 70-100 STR 100 SPR 70 DEX and REST CON. With new weapons you no longer need PATK from strength and you'll still reach damage cap easy, so better off getting some convinience and defensive stats.
If you're not funded and just starting out then going 50-100CON 70DEX(optional) and rest strength cause you need the damage to lvl properly.
GEAR
To lvl get cheap primus gear and enchance. Except from 350, you'll have it hard if you don't invest in a semi-decent primus weapon. Trans it a few stages and upgrade to +11 or higher. Unless you can get carried all the way to 380 which I doubt cause that's a fucking lot of Challenge modes.
End game gear is any 380 Primus enhanced to +16, Velcoffer atleast +11(+16 or no tos) or the coming 380 raid gear +16.
Primus/Velcoffer Plate armor 100% since crit from leather is no longer relevant(since you get so much from the new accessories).
To lvl, buy any cheap armor equipment from market.
GEMS
For weapons, green gems all the way, reaching around 700crit would be optimal anything more is still good but not necessary.
SKILL DISITRIBUTION AND THOUGHTS
HIghlander2
Crown Moulinet for Shinobi Combo not to mention it reduces SPR which increases magic damage for your party.
Crosscut Skyliner so you have some prison cutter card potential(Although I'm using frosterlord for Cyclone memes)
Barbarian3
For Warcry and Frenzy PATK buffs. Pounce will eventually be buffed too(It's in KToS) And of course Wild Nature attribute and Cleave.
Wild Nature 5 stacks and cleave adds really nice amount of crit 50 +10(corrected) per stack of wild nature).
Doppel3
Ran out of skill points so I ditched Zucken(which I think could be replicated by clones so I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but can't ditch Redel and can't ditch Zornhau and Sturtzhao is the strongest Nobi skill. Deeds maxed out since it's a multiplier on total damage. Cyclone AoE is huge and is 100% neccessary for a balanced character.
Examples: Look at elelock, decent damage and good AoE. Now at Mergen3, huge AoEs and works for all content.
Shinobi
For your boss bursts and it probably does more damage than Highlander3. Highlander3 is also disgustingly clunky. DO NOT LIKE.

[5/26/2016][1.03] - After reading a damage example from a guy in Reddit, I changed my mind about Deeds of Valor. I also remembered that Deeds affects not only Doppel skill, but Highlander skills too. So I ditched Zucken and took a few points from Cyclone to level Deeds. <- It did improve my damage.
[5/26/2016][1.04] - Even though Crown and Zucken give the same [Shock] debuff, only crown is able to increase the damage of Moulinet.
[5/26/2016][1.15] - R9 Patch hit and Doppel is in a weird spot. If you're willing to switch equipment mid fight then Murmillo will be the best choice. It adds PvP viablity with the deflection and damage negation and make the build more safer overall.
If you're like me and like to stay true to double handed swords(don't wanna get more equips) then you still gotta equip a shield for peltasta but atleast it's a quick switch back and forth for the taunt. This helps you get into parties and helps you gather mobs for your big skills.
Zucken got buffed so I remade the build. Cyclone duration is no longer longer the more skill points you add to it. So it becomes filler damage for when the rest of your skills are on cooldown.
I ditched swordsman 2. It didn't provide enough in the later maps since monsters no longer oneshot you. So you got no need for restrain.
Skull swing cause defense debuff.
Vertical Slash sucks ass.
Crosscut into Skyliner(s) is one of your MAIN SOURCES OF DAMAGE it's insane.
Then for max DPS go shinobi although I personally don't like it cause it's so clunky but it has proven itself op.
[09/03/2018]Either you go full clunk with shinobi peltasta. Or if you're playing on controller and don't want too many clunky skills then go Barb3 for Warcry Frenzy buffs. Don't go auto attacking too much for frenzy buffs because you lose DPS then.
[09/04/2018] Updated skill distribution to include lvl 11 Cyclone. Doppel got good aoe yay. Aim for +16 primus/velcoffer/new 380 raid weapons. +11 primus/velcoffer/new 380 raid plate gear. Anything less than that and you're not playing tree of savior.
