Appraiser-SR3

Appraiser-SR3 is a mobile DPS class who relies on Limacon to dish out constant damage while constantly being on the move. Despite not having the damage seen from post-nerf SR, SR3 still remains one of the most efficient farming class, and with sufficient investment, can be considered a DPS to some degree in end game content

Stat Distribution:
100-150 STR, rest DEX. We want to maximise DEX as much as possible to boost our attack speed as much as possible.

Skill Explanation:

Archer

Swift Step: Extremely useful skill - boosts your movement speed while attacking. Works with Limacon. The main reason why we want this is because at Archer2 we gain an attribute that gives us crit rate while Swift Step is active. Seeing how crit rate is so hard to get by nowadays outside of gear, has immense value for us.
Note: Not many classes outside of archer tree benefits from this skill. Do not use the attribute Swift Step: Share - it only serves to eat up buff slots (you have a fixed number of active buffs you can have at one point of time) and may end up overwriting important buffs such as blessing, revive, quicken or haste. And no, you can’t share crit rate.

Oblique Shot: Hits 2 targets per shot. The 5 overheat makes it a very useful skill for leveling.

Multishot: Not really useful outside of the small AoE it provides. More of a point dumper. You can take some points off this and take heavy shot/full draw if you want to do so.

Ranger

Barrage: Extremely strong AoE skill, has pretty good burst when utilised properly. Drains SP pretty fast though so prepare some SP potions beforehand.

Steady Aim: Good scaling buff that gives a flat % boost to your missile attacks. Scales well to late game.

Time-Bomb Arrow: Has a decent AoE and damage with knockdown.

High Anchoring: Point dumper. If you wish to do so you can move the 5 points to critical shot.

Appraiser

Overestimate: One of the key reasons you want appraiser. Boosts your sub weapon so that it has +3 enhancement level. Saves us the trouble (and the luck required) to get your pistol to +11 (+8)/+16 (+13)/+21 (+18).

Blindside: High scaling skill that also makes enemies more vulnerable to crits. Benefits not only you, but your entire party. This is another one of the reasons why we want Appraiser.

Devaluate: Another useful debuff that decreases enemy's’ physical and magical attack and defence.

Identify: Point dumper.

Schwarzer Reiter

Limacon: Your most iconic and most important skill. Allows you to move freely while attacking with secondary attack (pistol) when it is active. Gains 100% uptime at SR3 and another attribute that allows you to hit 2 targets with one auto while using Limacon.

Retreat Shot: Supplements your AoE damage, shoots backwards while moving forward. Can be used together with limacon.

Caracole: Instant cast AoE that further spreads damage to nearby enemies with the spread attribute.

Marching Fire: Shoots continuously with both your pistol and crossbow in front of you. Not sure if it is intended, but works even when you are standing still or knocked down. Unfortunately does not have an enhance attribute and at a certain point limacon starts to outdamage marching fire.

Wild shot: I don’t recommend this mainly due to limited AoE and cast time. More often than not you will end up taking some form of damage while charging so it will end up getting cancelled. Can be useful in certain bossing situations, if you do wish to take it take 5 points off caracole and move it to here.

Gear options

Weapons:
Lvl 1-170: Any 2H bow that you can find in your level range will suffice. If you have the funds for it, a purple 120 bow with 3 slots is pretty nice to have.
If you do happen to have an arde dagger, pick up a crossbow in your level range instead.

Lvl 170-Lvl 315: Manamana
Manamana is the best pistol you can get before 315 weapons hands down. Crit rate, movement speed, property damage, AoE attack ratio are all very favourable stats, not to mention the anvil efficiency means that once you get it to +16 and above it can compete with even double stack when it comes to pure damage. Enhance this as much as possible and stick to it until lvl 315.

Alternative option: If you cannot afford a Manamana, you can opt for an Alcris instead. Cheaper option but not as effective as Manamana. Save the remaining silver for Pevordimas pistol instead.

Lvl 315: Pevordimas Pistol/Purine Pevordimas Pistol: Stronger than Manamana when it comes to pure stats. If you can find a Purine Pevordimas pistol with 2 slots, it’s equivalent to double stack, thus allowing you to save your practonium for Aspana instead.

Aspana revolver: Your end game weapon-of-choice. Has extremely beneficial stacks such as crit rate, and the 3 slots makes it extremely powerful. If you are using SR3 as a farmer, not necessary to go until Aspana - Pevordimas pistol +11 will suffice for a farmer. Must have if you are looking to use SR as a DPS.

Main Hand:
Chrisius Shooter: Gives one of highest DEX boost in the game as of now. If you can find one with multiple slots, it is superior to Isbality.

Isbality: The main reason why we want this is due to its 3 slot. Our crossbow is a stat stick for us, so x3 yellow/green/red gem actually means quite a lot when it comes to it.

Silver Hawk: If you do not intend to use this on any other character, I recommend you to skip it and use Isbality or go straight for Regard Horn Crossbow.

Regard Horn Crossbow: Extremely good damage (for our ranger skills), 3 slotted and gives us some additional crit rate boost. Not necessary unless you want the SR as a DPS.

Armor:
Cafrisun Set: The extra damage line is insanely useful, especially when combined with sacrament, property damage such as those from Manamana or enchant fire scrolls, since we will be relying on auto attacks most of the time. In fact, you can use this armor set even at lvl 300++ if you are looking to use SR as a farmer as the combat update made it so that defence matters less than before.

Eastern Leather Set: Gives a really good boost to our DEX. Has better stats than cafrisun set, so if you feel uncomfortable with having low defence/do not wish to chug around too many HP potions, use this.

Eaglestar Leather Set: More defensive option as compared to Eastern Leather Set. Can be used if you are still uncomfortable with your defence and HP pool even with eastern leather set.

Kaulas/Vienti Kaulas Leather Set: Provides good defence stats, and some form of crit rate (and DEX if you went for Vienti Kaulas). Personally I don’t really find it far too useful so I’d skip this in favour of eaglestar leather/eastern leather sets.

Lolopanther/Solmiki leather set: Your end game armor of choice. Not needed unless you plan to go all-out as SR3 DPS.

Accessory:
Sissel bracelet: Seeing how rare crit rate is after the removal of crit rate from DEX, we want to boost it as much as possible from gears.

Zachariel bangle: Alternative budget choice. Overall stat boost.

Petamion-Max Petamion-Terraillon: Overall stat boost, terraillon is hard to come across so usually we settle with max petamion.

Headgear: Look out for physical attack, crit rate/attack, or property damage enchantments.

Gems:
Main Hand:
Yellow - if you feel that you are already as often as you would like.
Green - if you cannot push your crit rate to your desired stat.
Red - for overall damage boost, has a bit of RNG element to it.

Off-hand:
Yellow - if you feel that you are already critting as often as you would like.
Green - if you cannot push your crit rate to your desired stat.
Red - actually a very efficient choice of gem on off hand, go for it if you can’t care too much about crits.

Armor:
Top and bottom:
Yellow gems - for more physical defence
Red gems - I don’t like this on SR cos you already gain some extra HP from your mount. Not saying it’s not viable though, go for it if you are uncomfortable with your HP pool.

Boots:
Blue gem - for more magic defence.

Gloves:
Take anything you want here - monster gems if you can find/afford one, or block pen/accuracy gem if you feel that you are being dodged/blocked more than you would like.
