This build is a work in progress, I'm updating this as I level up. Any help is welcome.
Fair warning tho, I'm still quite new to this game so don't expect lots of info from me, all I'm listing here is my personal experience. Also I'm not super-funded, so all of this is budget until I grind up some silver ;P
Stats:
- 100 DEX
- Rest STR
Just allocate your stat points in 2's, 1:1 STR-DEX until you hit 100 DEX, then pump all into STR.
Levelling's kinda a pain sine you don't really have any good attacks at the beginning, but things pick up once you hit Highlander C2.
R1) Swordsman:
Best weapon:
Just use whatever you get from quests. I always upgrade my weapons to the safe limit, which is +5. Also use Red Gem in your weapon for additional damage. The higher gem lv the better, but for these low lv weapons I wouldn't waste anything that's higher than lv3 gem.
Skills:
1) First off is Bash. Put one point here, then max the following buffs, then max this skill. Shinobi clones can also use this skill. I picked this one because I felt that Thrust is kinda meh.
2) Get Gung Ho. It's better at the beginning since it's a time-based skill.
3) Next get Concentrate. I'm listing this one as second because the buff expires after a specified number of hits.
Attributes:
1)Bash: Enhance Priority: Low
There will be better skills to use. You can leave this one until you have spare cash to spend.
2)Bash: Knockdown Priority: High
Only 1 level so just max it out early.
3)Concentrate: Enhance Priority: Normal
Increases additional damage of [Concentrate] by 1% per level. At lv 50 it's a pretty good upgrade so level it when you have time.
4)Gung Ho: Enhance Priority: Normal
Same as with Concentrate. The only downside is that it also amplifies the defense reduction effect, but I don't really feel it that much.
5)Provoke
I honestly don't really feel the effect of this that much but it has only 10 levels so why not.
R2) Highlander C1:
Best weapon:
If this is your second character and you have a above lv 40 alt, you can buy Deathweaver Tooth from market. Otherwise use Potentia, which drops from Wubbles at Miner's Village.
Skills:
1) You get Crown first. And, uh, yeah. Good luck levelling with this one because that's the only skill we pick up from C1 ^^; Alone this skill isn't that great, but just wait, because it becomes awesome at C2. Also I'm only putting 5 points into this skill because it's just a combo opener, and at lv5 the debuff lasts 13 seconds which is plenty to link Moulinet into it.
Save the 10 leftover skill points you have from this circle.
Attributes:
1)Use Two-handed Swords Priority: Highest
Lets us use Two-Handed Swords. Handy.
2)Weapon Swap Priority: High
A one point utility skill. Get this ASAP.
3)Two-handed Sword Mastery: Critical Attack Priority: High
We'll be using Two-Handed Swords for a while so max this out quick. Max lv 5.
4)Crown: Enhance Priority: Low
Since Crown is just a combo opener there's no need to rush with upgrading this one.
5)Crown: Reduce Priority: Low
Same as above.
R3) Highlander C2: (the fun starts here)
Best weapon:
Try to get Chapparition Two-handed Sword from market if you have the cash. Otherwise use any blue weapon that drops/you get from quest that has the highest attack.
Skills:
1) Moulinet. Max this one first (5 out of 10 leftover points). Used after Crown deals double damage. Basically one-shots any boss you use it on. (at least early on)
2) Skyliner. Max this one next (10 out of 10 leftover points). Has 5 overheat and deals very nice damage.
3) Crosscut. Causes Bleeding on a target, but has only 2 overheat, that's why I saved it for last.
Save the 10 leftover skill points you have from this circle.
Combo:
At this point the good combo for bosses is:
Crosscut>Crown>Moulinet
Even if Moulinet doesn't finish the boss off in one attack, the bleeding effect will.
Attributes:
1)Moulinet: Critical Priority: High
Ups crit chance and has only 5 levels.
2)Moulinet: Enhance Priority: Normal
3)Skyliner: Enhance Priority: Normal
4)Crosscut: Enhance Priority: Normal
2,3&4: Level at your own leisure.
R4) Highlander C3: (the final Scotsman)
Best weapon: I bought Sketis Two-handed Sword from market. It has good attack and 4 (!) gem slots which makes it a monster depending on how many high levelled red gems you pump into it.
