Hi Viewers or rather aspiring Necrosorcs! If you want to be a summoner type class in the game this is as close as you can get!
Let's answer some questions first
Why did you go wizard 3?
Wiz 3 gives youQuick cast and as well as Sure cast. It's extremely powerful with Flesh Cannon (Necromancer skill 20 second cooldown) It scales great at end game plus Magic Missile for farming. Also good amplification for bat damage!
Why didn't you go sorc 2?
Because then you wont get necro 2 which has the skeletons and other summons. You can just leave them to grind for you and they dont consume sp.
Take SORC 2 when rank 8 comes out or take necro 3.
Is necro worth it:?
It depends how dedicated you are. I myself find the necromancer class actually strong and fun! I love summoning classes! You wont know until you try!
Can i replace any rank with anything else?
Well as far as you can get, don't replace wiz 3. you need it to boost flesh cannon and flesh hoop. you can replace sorc with linker 2 if you want.
Stat Distribution: 4 int:1 con
This means every 4 int you put 1 con. Your int makes your summons damage stronger! Don't bother with SPR because sp depletes faster with bigger sp.
Combos:
Link+Hangman''s Knot+Magic missile does super good damage especially with mobs with high hp. In dungeons, you'll see the difference if you use hangman's knot(with aoe defense minus attribute) when you do it.
Sleep+Joint+Flesh cannon[/b= = Beast damage. Flesh cannons damage compares to meteor! It has an AoE attack ratio of 8 + 4 (because of the cat buff) and only 20 seconds cool down!
[b]Summon pets+flesh cannon = Your pets put enemies in place so you can cast it on them! Flesh cannon has pretty small space to be cast so you pretty much have to be exact to where you aim it!
These are also applicable to pvp!
Pros and Cons of the build!
Pros:
You can pretty much solo and you're also good in parties
You can just leave your character to grind by summon Shoggoth and raise dead (some money)
You are good in pvp with numerous pets
Good damage
Cons:
You are pretty much useless until you become sorcerer
Hard to get to rank 5
Corpse mechanic
You can also replace sorcerer with linker 2 if you want but getting extra pets if the main purpose of the build.

Why did you go wizard 3?

I like your build and started following recently. I am currently Wizard C3, on my way to linker. However, I read that IMC is nerfing magic missile, hangman's knot and joint penalty to make them absolutely worthless. I think IMC has been tracking my progress and decided that it would be funny to mess with me and make the transition from linker to sorcerer even harder than what it is already going to be. (I am struggling with bosses as is right now)
My question is: Can I skip linker? if so, what other class should I get? I appreciate before hand any help.
Linker is still highly advisable. The nerf isn't a true nerf. It's more a fix to a situation pre merge patch. What we have now is a super bugged combo which shouldn't be there. In kToS it's already like that and people still use wiz3+linker.
Linker is still definitely a strong addition to necro for two reasons. First most of the necro summons are single target. So JP really helps them when grinding or in dungeons. Second with the attribute of JP you can increasepoison damage of 50% and the new skill we get, aka flash strike, which is a power-like meteor copy with...poison damage you practically get an ele meteor with 50% bonus dmg XD
The hardships you're having are pretty normal. Unluckily till you hit sorc or necro our bossing ability is really bad.

Nice build !
It is not merely a good soloer, but desired in groups also. Many Earth Tower players will accept this build because it is almost as good AOE as an elememe while providing much better single target dps for the bosses.
You can also pvp pretty well with it, although don't expect to shine in 1v1 without a level in Psycho.
Finally, for better or worse, it is the ultimate AFK farming build, having access to all the pets.
I have some questions tho
1. why you didn't max Create Shoggoth? it's just 1/5 and Corpse Tower 1/5 what's the reason behind it? Corpse Tower is 50 sec cooldown and 50 second duration at 5/5 is flesh hoop really worth that much?
2. when I reach Sorcerer class which spell should I get first? Summoning, familiar, salamion or servant?
