@haohmaru105 stat build is full CON, add STR as required to hit certain targets if you find EVA to be a nuisance.

Hi, I'm following your build since I got interested in Cata/Lancer. I'm just wondering about weapon wise. Do you use switch weapon 1h spear & Shield / 2h spear in this build? Since we have Pel taunts and hop for the 1 spear skills and lancer for 2 hand skills. So far I like alot and trying to find a good weap to +16 / trans. o3ob

@Acomsait Trans is Transcendence. This is the secondary refinement process that raises the base dmg of your weapon incrementally. At stage 10 trans, your weapon will provide an extra 100% more weapon damage. This factored into your quintain's damage coefficient means BIG numbers.

@Acomsait Not necessarily, a poweful weapon say +16 or +21 will provide far more damage than anything even MAX STR can provide. In other words, 90% of your damage is your gear (specifically your weapon), having MAX str makes you squishy, you'll get 1 shotted and the damage gain is measly, though accuracy is slightly helpful you never need more than 100 str (and that's only if you are having trouble killing high EVA players in TBL) . Full CON synergizes with everything else you have, pelt for shield block/ HP pool and general tankiness.

@lucas.hendrik really hard to say, dragoon c2 dethrone seems really OP and gives us a range we really need. If it's dragoon C2 i would try sword3/cata3/dragoonc2 or maybe sword2/pelt1/hop1/cataphract3/sword3. restrain and a high level pain barrier can be really OP in pvp. hard to say, this game makes you reroll so you can't experiment. Lancer is nice for knocking others off mounts, still too early to say for me. Gotta play the game a bit more. For now this build is what I'm sticking with.

PSA @kenyareborn & TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS BUILD.....I don't play this game anymore but this guy is too much, too arrogant, and an absolute fraud.

It's a decent build but it is nowhere as unbeatable as he says. I'm the PD he posted on the youtube to show off his high dex build, and here is what really happened without his cut edits. He couldn't be more wrong about his assumptions about my build or skills. Anyone who knows anything about PvP would know that Monk's bleed is activated through a physical skill. If I couldn't land the physical skill it wouldn't have landed the DoT on him, so no he wasn't avoiding my hits consistently once I figured out he was just all dex and adjusted using accuracy gears. Why spend real stats when you can make up the difference using gears and remain flexible for most situations? He couldn't beat me after really, it was too easy. Tried to be friendly, posted the PSA in a nice manner on his youtube but he deleted to save face, like a coward.

TLDR: 120 Dex PD whoops Typhoon's "unbeatable" build repeatedly. Typhoonz deletes comments on his vids and edits videos to hide the truth. PROOF & SOME HONESTY https://youtu.be/b-3V8YlrU1A

@Windchrome plus you respecced your entire build to address a single duel, so that in itself is kind of cheap as I didn't really do that. i adapted my playstyle as opposed to my build, that is the true essence of the cataphract. i have to work a lot harder for the same effect, skill!

@MrAdri Of course you do, they can't stop you from beating on them with knock-downs. I said I don't lose in duels didn't I? You will see with magic, if they can't disable you, you just beat perma-stun them with restrain or knock-down chain them. Assuming they survive the first doomspike.

Magic DAMAGE isn't your biggest concern, its magic CC for long periods, which now is a non-issue due to the use of Dispeller.

@MrAdri lots of changes eh, magic is basically only addressed if you got good gear and some health. Gemmed out/ transcended gear with high plus marks, and big fat gems. Otherwise magic can still rape you instantly. Joust is my only real weapon against magic classes, clerics and wizard types are silenced for up to 18 seconds and all ground markings and summons are destroyed.

@Player1 Hey sorry hadn't noticed it earlier! This build is strictly a PVP build, so if you want to have Thrust in your build like you say you do, I would not recommend trying to PVP. Thrust can only be useful to someone who has no access to spears, since it grants a Pierce damage skill.

@Over.Kill updated answer : not strictly pvp build that was old version, it's definitely PVE compatible if you take advantage of these fat attack% modifiers, stack that damage, hoplite adds huge DPS synergy with crush quintain, if those crit you're hitting 1mil a hit on bosses with transd gear

@D4nmonic Peltasta is required for all the Evasion bonuses and for the ability to use Guard which is your block skill basically. You also get swashbuckling which gives you 25% more health. You are immune to physical damage and have higher evasion than anyone else but you need peltasta to do that. Too many good things out of pelt 1, hop2 is weak, 50 crit rate is alot early on, late game at level 225+ it's less of a bonus, the block rate really shines and the added aoe attack ratio. Hop c2 isn't worth it, hoplite skills are pve oriented so hop1 is required mainly so you can use 1 handed spears with a shield.

I was trying to make a build utilizing catas speed and cc with corsairs hook and taking dragoon to make up for damage. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/zprmwqt2rm/. The idea of a 9 sec disable is too good to pass up especially chained to knockdowns. I would drop hop1 or cata2 but you have me sold on lvl 5 finestra. What's your thoughts? Awesome build btw.

@Pwice Trust me on this one. You are immune to physical damage with this build. You need hop 1 for using a 1hand spear and shield, plus the blockrate on finestra is really good and added crit. I have never lost a duel since I hit the 200 range. I can literally facetank a full dex archer or cata at the same time by just holding block, hell I could dodge anything. Corsair's disables are useless you can't attack while disabling people with it. A cataphract and this build in particular is a 1v1 duel build, but it excels everywhere else as well.
Cataphract is not worth it at all at c1 or c2, its the level 15 Trot that makes you a beast in PVP. You have the ability to control the fight by being able to quite literally run circles around your enemy, you can engage and disengage as you like. Cata is the most versatile PVP class, your biggest enemy are wizards of sorts. Dispeller scrolls help with freezing and sleeping builds.

Basically, every single rank and class I have chosen in this build is needed. Pelt for eva/blk tanking, hop for crit/blk rate and ability to use 1h spear, cata3 is a must for Rush/restrain combo. sword 2 obviously required for restrain. There is no class I can't beat and that's the honest truth. Skill also plays a big factor in how well you do, there were times I got close to losing but was able to reset the fight by disengaging from it due to my ridiculous move speed.

@Over.Kill cata 3 vs dragoon c1 , how about that, are u sure u can win if the enemy build is : sword c1 > pelt c1 > hop c1 > cata c3 > dragoon c1 , please respon

@Pwice updated answer: its a nice build but I won't comment on whether its better or not, all I can say is in my experience I've tried every variation. Cataphract is useless without rush, really good skill and does tons of DPS when fully attributed with powerful weapons. Your build is valid but they seem to be more fine tuned to different purposes than listed in this build. IMHO if it ain't cata 3 it ain't committed, you can't fake it.
