Hi everyone, welcome to my Chaplain support/utility build page, let's get right into it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 25/05/16 : Add some additional weapons for early Ranks | Add Ranks category.
Update 26/05/16 : Correction on INT description, the build overall change if you do not want to go full support and go support/semi-dps instead | Add weapons for lvl 75-120 tier to Items part.
Update 28/05/16 : Add scaling skills list category.
Update 29/05/16 : Add an alternative if you want to skip Pardoner.
Update 02/09/16 : Theory adjustement | Build change for more flexibility.
Update 29/10/17 : Spell / Attributs / Stats update. Stuff will be added later.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This build is a support oriented build, you will be very usefull for your party with your many buffs.
You have also a spell shop which allows you to sell your buffs to others for a decent price and make money (if you take the pardoner path), and you'll still stay very usefull in a party as a Chaplain.
PROS :
-Many buffs (buffs/Cafrisun/Arde dagger can make you hit pretty hard)
-Very good in group/party
-Feel usefull
CONS :
-Early-game solo can be boring.
Ranks :
Cleric C1 → Priest C3 → Chaplain C1 → Cleric C2 → Plague Doctor C2
OR
Cleric C1 → Priest C3 → Chaplain C1 → Cleric C2 → Pardoner C2
You can go for chaplain just after Priest C3 if you want an easier leveling, you'll deal more damage as a Chaplain. You will have all your core buffs and so on, Pardoner C2 is clearly for spell shop and scroll your spell.
At rank 4, you can choose between put 5 points into Stone skin, which is a good skill but situational, and put 5 points into Mass Heal. Both are good. You'll have a better heal potential with Mass Heal.
Also, if you don't really care of spell shop you can skip pardoner and go for Cleric C2 and then Plague doctor C2, it's the best way if you don't want to go pardoner. (as a support)
Alternative if you skip Pardoner :
If you go this way, you will max Heal to lvl 10, Safety zone to lvl 10, and max Divine might lvl 5 for Cleric C2, and for Plague doctor C2 you will max Healing factor lvl 6 for max uptime, Bloodlettting lvl 5 obviously, incinerate lvl 10 for additional dps, black death steam lvl 5 for combo with incinerate, pandemic lvl 3 for spread the black death steal cloud, and I put the last point into Beak Mask 'cause Lul.
Stats distribution :
I recommand max SPR and CON. Save 3 points each time and then go 2:1 SPR:CON and you'll be fine. I guess 50 invested points in CON is enough so stop at 50 and then full SPR.
Attributes :
Rank 1-6 : Cleric C1 - C2
-Heal : Remove damage (In early don't take this since heal can help you to deal damage)
-Increased maximum buff count - MAX (available rank 5)
-Blunt mastery : stun - MAX
-Safety Zone : Block Count - MAX
Rank 2-3-4 : Priest C1-C2-C3
-Weapon swap
-Blessing : Additional buff - MAX
-Blessing : Attack count - MAX
-Blessing : Enhance - MAX
-Resurrection : Revive count - MAX
-Revive : Duration - MAX
-Monstrance : Duration - MAX
Rank 5 : Chaplain C1
Anything is rly worth points here..
Rank 7-8 : Plague Doctor C1-C2
-Incinerate : Infect - MAX
-Pandemic : Increase range - MAX (If you strugle to put debuff on ennemy for Incinerate, beware tho : 200% SP consumption).
The rest is up to you.
Items :
I recommand to go Cafrisun set for the extra damage it provide with the 4 items bonus of the set. When you hit lvl 40 you can go for Light plate armor set if you want more survivability, with Earth plate gauntlets and Earth plate greaves, but you can stay in Cafrisun set for a long time.
For weapons, you can go either swords or maces. Spatha is a good sword for the very beginning of the game. (Drop from Vubbe thief in miner's village, or buy it from auction, very cheap)
Early you have :
Swords :
-Dio sword (drop from Vubbe miner)
-Panto sword
Maces :
-Dio mace (drop from Grummer)
-Vubbe morning star (drop from Vubbe fighter 0.25% droprate)
For sub-hand early take any shield it doesn't matter, but Meteor is a good one (drop from Large Red Keppa 1% droprate, or buy it from auction, he's cheap atm).
Upgrade your stuff +5 and you'll be fine for a while.
Lvl 40 you can go for Thresh sword which is a good one. You can drop it from Rodelin in Tenet church B1.
Also you have 2 interesting mace which is Spiked mace with the "pierce" damage property, it can be usefull in some situation. The second mace is Five hammer, damage are lower than the previous weapons but it allow you to hit more target at once with the AoE attack bonus ratio.
Your dps will have a good boost when you'll hit lvl 75. Just buy Arde dagger and enjoy. If you can't afford this dagger, you can get it from lvl 90 dungeon (5% droprate on the boss cube, I got mine in my second run #RNG). With Cafrisun, all your buff and Arde dagger you'll have a good amount of damage for a support build.
For primary weapon, you have a very good mace lvl 75 which is Mauros club, this weapon gives you all you want. For swords, nothing is really interesting/worth to get at this level, the next good sword is lvl 120 : Wizard blade , you have also Valtas morning star and Valia for lvl 120 maces. The recipe for Valia is a drop from lvl 115 dungeon.
Feel free to ask question, I'll do my best to answer.
Thanks for reading guys.

Heya,
I think it's good for solo xp/grinding, but Chaplain is not a class that is made for tanking since you don't have any spell for damage mitigation, tanking, taunting and so on.
This type of game is absolutly punitive on how you use your skillpoint. You need to see where you go. CON/DEX is good for sure, you'll get tanky and you'll less miss, as a result you'll have a higher DPS. Everything you want for being the Big Daddy Boy in solo.
SPR/CON result of a 100% utility in party, buffs, heal etc. The real support is here. Everything you want for being the Godamn Ass Savior.
And of course, I don't precise it but if you want to go full support, just don't take pardoner and go for Cleric 2 and Plague Doctor 1.
Obviously.
Yo,
I don't play the game since 1 month or more, I don't know about the recent changes but if it's true, indeed just skip simony for something else.
Hi :)
Well, I don't think put 20 point in DEX will be a huge difference. I mean, u'll miss anyway. So, in my opinion, just go full STR/DEX, or just go INT/CON/SPR. Just because puting " some points here and there " will be such a waste. Just go on a way and u'll be fine.
Yo :)
Indeed aspergillum is affected by apersion which scall with SPR and INT. The spell is tagged [Magic] - [Holy], so It's better to put point in INT in my opinion.
Hi man :)
In the build I mention that you can take stone skin or mass heal.
Mass heal for better heal potential, or stone skin for better "tanking" potential. They are both goods, if you want to not go pardonner, you can skip blessing at 5 points, and then put 10 points in Mass heal and you will have both Mass heal and stone skin maxed :)
This way, you'll be more usefull for you party. <3
and i want ask one more question,
If possible if i get Resurrection skill?
Absolutly, left blessing at 4 and put 1 point in resurrection.
Blessing damage can be increase by the attribute anyway so go on :)
is it true that the scroll level that you make is limited by Simony? (e.g lv 1 Simony can only make lv 1 scroll)
so if we only take lv 10 Simony does that mean we can only make lv 10 scrolls?
Hi :)
- The level of the scroll's ability is determined by the level of the scrollwriter's relevant ability or the level of the scrollwriter's Simony, whichever one is lower; scrolling a level 8 ability using a level 3 Simony will create a level 3 scroll; scrolling a level 3 ability with a level 8 Simony will also create a level 3 scroll.
If the user/caster who activates a scroll has trained any Attributes that pertain to the ability contained in the activated scroll, the caster will be granted the benefits of their Attribute(s).
The cooldown of Skill Scrolls are separate from the cooldown of the non-scroll versions of those scrolls. If you have scrolls of spells you normally already have, then you essentially have access to that spell on two separate cooldowns.
In addition to that :
- Only select spells can be scrolled from various Cleric classes, and several of the Cleric classes do not have any spells which can be scrolled.
Scrolls can be traded, marketed, and placed into team storage.
The skill used by the scroll scales off the caster's stats, not the scrollwriter's stats.
The scrollwriter's trained Attributes pertaining to the scrolled ability are not imbued into the scroll.
Hope my answer will help you :)
hi,tell me pls
1.When iam placing a spell shop i need to craft my buffs with simony or it just sells my buffs automatically?
2.how to get my buffs till 16 16 11 lvls for all day long to sell them in spell shop?how to get lvl 17 buffs i have seen a few times dudes with lvls 17.
ty
Hi :)
1 : Simony is for crafting spells into scrolls and then sold it to market. Spell shop is for : Blessing / Sacrament / Aspersion. The higher lvl the spells are, the higher lvl they are in your spell shop. Basically the max lvl are 15 / 15 / 10 respectively. You basically need to have the require items (holy water, holy powder, gyslotis) in your inventory in order to sell those buffs. Each time someone buy a buff, X require items will be subtracted from your inventory.
BUT
2 : Indeed you can sell buffs which are lvl 16 / 16 / 11 or lvl 17 / 17 / 12, it's due to gem monster which are slotted into the equipment of the seller. There is a thing with the buff called " divine might " too, but it seems to be a glitch since this buff is effectiv for 60 seconds, but if you get the buff, then open shop and go offline the buff still stay and disappear when you reconnect. Not sure about this, need more information.
Sorry if this answer is confuse, my english is not perfect ^^'
Your aswer was totally clear ty bro!
But i got i more if youre not mind)
How the big lvls guys exping their twinks?(pardoners, squiers)
I guess they taking a kid into another grind locations every ~15 lvls and farming mobs with main hero, with bot programs or without it(i dont think so+))
If you know pls tell me)
Hmmm, I don't really know much about this since my higher lvl is 150.
Not sure about grinding tbh, guess for a quick leveling they skip low lvl map and go questing or farming maps that gives already lvl 3-4 xp cards minimum. Not rly sure about it. Early ranks is about something like one or two hours of game if you do it properly and skip what is basically useless. Dungeon are also a veeeeery good source of xp. Like, your are 50, just do your 2 (or 3 if premium) entry and you'll hit lvl 65 etc.. Repeat lvl 90, 115 and when you hit rank 5 just keep your lvl 6+ xp card for the " wall " lvl 170 approximatly. Do your daily, dungeon and go through main quest and I think you'll be fine.
Here is a good leveling guide (not mine I do not own any credits of this) : https://m.reddit.com/r/treeofsavior/comments/45xa7j/leveling_guide_for_ktos/
This guide make you go through most of the low-mid level maps so you get the full potential xp cards and so on, but I don't really know which one of those two way to go gives the most efficiency.
For me, I'm doing all maps just because I'm a perfectionist lol but it's just my personal way of play. ^^
Hope this help you so :)
1 - Do you stats affect the effectiveness of the buffs you sell? Is there any downside to going STR-DEX-CON?
2 - Why is the DPS build based on INT-CON and not STR? Most of your damage come from your basic attacks no?
3 - What does oblation do? The skill description is really vague...
Thanks in advance :D
Hi :)
1 - Well the stats doesn't affect the effectiveness of your buffs you sell, it's the skill lvl of the buffs. People will buy the highest lvl buffs, lvl 15 blessing lvl 15 aspersion and lvl 10 sacrament. As I said in the build, you can go for a more offensive build by maxing STR:CON, of course you can put DEX in this kind of build, your stats may be something like this at max rank. It depend really of your feeling because if you feel tanky enough you can put less CON, but if you plan to PvP, you will need CON really hard. But in very late game you will lack of damage even if you max those stats, you will support your party 99% of the time so this way of play is good for leveling that's true, but in party you will mostly support, and those stats are bad for support (Support is INT/CON/SPR or SPR/CON).
2 : There is a spell with Chaplain that is called Aspergillum, this self-buff increased your damage of each auto-attacks, and this skill scall hard on INT since he's scalling with Aspersion which is Magic - Holy tagged, and Magic attack in increased hard with INT. With all your buff you will deal damage even if you don't put any point in STR.
3 : Oblation make you able to open a box near a Godess statue and players can put item in it in order to sell it to you at 80% of the item value. Then you can go sell those items to NPC for a small profit or you can keep it because oblation items count boosts your indulgentia damage by 1 point per item. Of course if you want to profit of Indulgentia you will need to drop points in it.
I hope my answer will help you. :)
Hi :)
PROS : More heal and more utility.
CONS : No shop/no scrolls so no silver ^^
SPR/CON, doesnt rly matter tbh since you'll just leveling and then when you hit rank 6 you'll stop if you just want selling skill.
But max SPR will result of a better DPS with blessing.
Depends on how many you sold them, and how many items required you have in your inventory (holy water, holy powder, gyslotis).
When I was spamming the game, ppl generaly sold them at 1000g/u.
If you are competitive like lvl 16 or 17 buffs (gems etc), ppl will probably buy more to you and you can make tons of gold.
But I don't played the game for some month so idk if it still works.
